"The professors in this program are phenomenal! Plenty of opportunities for one-on-one research with the professors and they genuinely care about the students! I would suggest if you want to undergraduate research or if you want to go to a university that feels like a small college, then this would be the place for you! Remember, you get out of it what you put into it. It's easy to get lost in a crowd of 30,000 students, but if you are assertive, there are plenty of opportunities."

"I graduated from Louisiana State University twice. Once in 2010 with a degree in Communication Studies and Film and Media arts and again in 2015 with a degree in History and Secondary Education. Both degrees are worth every penny spent. My professors were amazing in both degree programs. They were knowledgeable and care about each student's academic success. GEAUX TIGERS!"

"I was one of the first graduates of the new education program at LSU in 2008, nicknamed the "No Child Left Behind" Degree, due to the move of have teacher's being required to hold a degree in their teaching area, and then a supplementary degree in education. My experience was extremely positive with admissions (as a transfer student), college professors, counseling and guidance, and student teaching assignments and experiences! It was a wonderful program for students that wanted to become teachers. I have taught six years, starting in history, and I am now a Gifted Education Teacher at one of the top schools in New Mexico. I have felt my courses for my degree really prepared me for the teaching profession. Geaux Tigers!"
