"When I asked for help multiple times regarding assignments of a particular class, I was lead to believe it was just my disability that was getting me low grades despite seeking a tutor with a worldview opposite of my own. We couldn’t figure out why I was being given D’s and F’s and the faculty members I thought I could trust would not give me any direct answers. I ended up dropping the semester because I couldn’t have such low grades in the first semester. It made me hate learning."

"Came into the program with the hope of doing some networking during the internship but it did not happen. Received no assistance in setting up the internship and my thesis topic was totally taken over by the professor... in fact, after I presented my thesis, I tossed it. Afterward when I had difficulty trying to procure a position after graduation, the career counselor suggested I take the master degree off my CV, because employers may feel I"obviously over qualified." A generic master degree in nursing is a waste of money. A MSN-NP or FNP would be a wiser choice.."

"It is a awesome school. Has the education of a big school but with a small school feel."

"Lourdes University offers a small college atmosphere with faculty that really cares for their students. After graduating from a much larger University for my undergraduate degree and feeling like my voice as a student mattered little, Lourdes was an easy choice for me. I would highly recommend the University and if I decide to further my education, Lourdes would be my first choice."

"Lourdes University is a small school that pays very close attention to the success of their students. The faculty and staff are very helpful and know the students by name. The school is in a very safe area close to everything. The campus is very pretty and relaxing, making a long day at school very enjoyable. They have several programs to help their students including tutoring, paper draft reading/correcting, free classes and seminars, etc. The only con is that it is a private college so the cost of the school is a little pricey but well worth the money. I completed my bachelors degree here and returned for my masters."

"I would like my individual support from mentors. The faculty and staff are great at helping with routine services, but it would be nice to work alongside someone who has recently had the same or similar experiences. There have been many times where I wanted to give up, but I don't feel confident in speaking with someone at the University. I'd feel comfortable speaking about career prospects, but not personal issues. Also, the feeling of being the test cohort is a little unsettling. I want to have a competitive advantage after graduation."
