"Exciting new master degree program. First in the nation. Only LMU could create this quality program."

"It's a great school in a great area but at the beginning they give little support unless you bug them."

"Loyola Law School has challenged in ways that I never imagined possible. Of course coming into law school I knew that workload and difficulties of the classes would be high but I never imagined to be pushed to my limits as I was during my first year. I was fortunate enough to have some great professors as compared to my other colleagues in different sections. Most notably my Property and Torts Professors stand out because of their commitment to teach us to "think like lawyers" which is what a lot of professor forget to do. One of my only problems with Loyola has to be the GPA cutoff for first years, if you fall below a 2.22 then you are kicked out of the program. I think this is too harsh considering that Loyola has dropped in rankings this past year and other surrounding law schools have the GPA cut off at below 2.0."

"The LMU staff were incredibly supportive and responsive throughout my time as a graduate student. The TFA-LMU partnership is specifically designed to support Teach for America corps members throughout the credentialing process. To this end, the program does a solid job of providing students with basic teaching skills, as well as access to valuable resources. However, the quality of the courses is spotty; some classes seemed sloppily put-together, with little emphasis on guiding students to meaningfully learn about content."

"While some may argue that Loyola Marymount University isn't very good value for money, my personal experience is that the network and academic support provided by the university are very good, and more than make up for the tuition costs."

"It's a great school, but very expensive and low job prospects according to the new U.S. rankings."

"The Pros about attending LMU graduate program are that the class sizes are small and the professors are very accessible. The Cons about LMU graduate program is that it is expensive and students are now required to pay for parking."

"I have learned a great deal being a part of the LMU community. The students, staff and faculty are caring, passionate about their work and a wonderful team of educators. My only helpful suggestion would be to increase the number of stats and enrollment type courses for those who are interested in pursuing enrollment jobs in higher education. Otherwise, I have learned a tremendous amount from the educators at LMU and have truly loved my experience at the institution."

"There is a lot of support from the staff, and questions are always answered quickly. I am a little overwhelmed by the use of technology, but love learning it!"

"The pros of my graduate program definitely revolve around the class room size. The classroom sizes are small, therefore the environment is more accesssible. The professors are always there to help and are never too busy. The students get to know each other and it establishes networks int he graduate programs. The cons of the graduate program are the expenses; every year cost seems to go up. Tutition is bad enough but other cost are being added."

"The pros of the systems engineering program at LMU is the diversity of the students and teacher. With this, bring knowledge from different levels and background that contribute to a well rounded education that will support me in the working force. I con of the program would be the cost to attend. Education is so expensive, and it is difficult to stay focused on your studies when you are worried about paying for them."

"This program is extremely challenging, but equally rewarding. The professors are very available and welcoming for struggling students. I would highly recommend this program for any student that wants to excel."

"Coming from an undergraduate program in communication and theatre arts, I can honestly say deciding to attend Loyola Marymount University to pursue my Masters in film production was the best the decision I ever made. I have learned more in one semester than I learned in 3 years in my undergraduate career. Before I came to LMU, I have only worked with FInal Cut Pro and the Panasonic HVX 200 and Sony EX-1. In one semester at LMU, I have worked with AVID media composer, After Effects, Bolex, Arri S, Arri SR2, both regular 16 and super 16, the RED ONE and RED Scarlet. LMU has provided me with several opportunities to get hands on experience with equipment and working on sets, meeting with professionals in the industry, and the ability to network with not only my classmates, but other students in the program. I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge here at LMU and only plan to gain more throughout my career here. The program is pushing for more networking and communication between the screenwriting and producing program, however the communication is still lacking. Once there is communication between all three programs, there is no reason that this program would not be even better and stronger."

"I love that the Loyola Law School campus is separate from the main Loyola Marymount campus. To know that everyone you see on campus is a fellow law student builds a sense of community and camaraderie. Also, because Loyola Law has such a large student body, we are able to have our own social events and the networking opportunities with Alum are endless. Also, the campus is just a short Metro ride away from the largest courthouse in the world, the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. I'm so glad that I chose to attend law school at Loyola. Yes, being a law student is challenging, but that is just the nature of the law school beast and the professors, staff and fellow students all make the challenge as manageable as possible."
