"Loyola is a wonderful school for someone who wants to be a part of "Big City Life" while still getting a rigorous education. The professors at Loyola are dedicated and very knowledgeable. As a social work major I did have mostly adjunct professors, but I believed this added immensely to my education since they were still working within the field. We often had the opportunity to discuss case studies as they were occurring. The honors program is also something to consider when enrolling as it has a heightened level of academics as well as a strong sense of community. The campus is on the North side of the city so you are not right downtown. This makes for a nice residential feeling. However, depending on your major, you may also have classes at the downtown campus, which is easily accessible by train, bus, or a Loyola provided shuttle."

"Loyola is extremely good at helping students network and go where you need to go. They set you up for the future and provide you with an opportunity to take an array of classes according to your interests within your field....not to mention, Chicago is a fantastic place to be when out of the classroom!"

"I think Loyola provides an excellent Clinical Social Work program. I have enjoyed all of my coursework so far and feel that the faculty and staff provide essential resources and support. I would definitely recommend their Social Work program."

"The program is accredited and has taught me so much in two short semesters. However the school provides next to NO assistance for those needing help with tuition. I have a 4.0 and have begged for help, but my only option is to take out loans. I will be $140,000 in debt once I leave the program. :("

"The pros of the Social Work Program are that the professors, exemplifies concern and make themselves availbale to resolve any course work and discrepancies that may arrive. The cons are that there is'nt enough financial aid available for the Social Work program."
