"The best thing about Loyola's MSW program are the internship and career opportunities. The school has a great reputation in the Chicago community, as well as tons of connections. I love my first level internship and am learning a ton from it. Other pros are the FOOD and the diversity of the student body. Now, for the bad news: the classes aren't as intellectually stimulating as I would have hoped for a graduate level program. In a lot of ways, they still feel like hs classes. The professors are a mixed bag... I have one who I love, one who is okay, and two who drive me nuts. I think a 7 sums up my feelings about Loyola well."

"Pros: Very good school with a well-rounded choice of classes. Plus, it's in Chicago, which is an amazing city with a lot to do! Obviously, Chicago is expensive, but you can find affordable housing in the various neighborhoods. Cons: The advisers are not so great. Sometimes, it will take a long time to hear from the advising office, so be patient."

"The city of Chicago is a great place to live. The graduate programs at Loyola are located in downtown Chicago near lots of food and shopping options. The school is competitive. I feel challenged by the faculty and students, which is desirable. Only cons are that it is expensive to attend a private school, but hopefully worth it because of the education I receive."

"I am a grad student who lives off campus so some of the items do not apply. I am thrilled with my educational experience at Loyola University Chicago and am 100% confident that I will have every opportunity to succeed with my career objectives, as well as become more involved in the community, through my participation at Loyola."
