"Lubbock Christian University is a school that is extremely accommodating and helpful as students transition from high school to college life. The small campus was far less daunting than other local universities and offered parking right next to every building I had classes in. Every professor I encountered was dedicated to making sure students received a quality education while being willing to guide and mentor students along the way. The education program is known as one of the top education programs in the area, and I felt extremely prepared to begin my career as a teacher upon graduating."

"Lubbock Christian University's psychology program provided students with so much opportunities to further education outside of the standard classroom setting. The professors are all knowledgeable and great in their specialties. Students who go through this program are immensely prepared for graduate school."

"The education I received through my time at LCU is one of the greatest blessings I've ever received in my life thus far. The Bible department faculty were not just my professors, but over the years they became both my mentors and friends. To journey beside them with their plethora of experience has been one of my greatest joys. The community at LCU is on another level, I've made life long friends to support me the rest of my life regardless of the different futures life holds for all of us. Lubbock Christian University has changed my life for the better, not a single dollar was wasted on the education and life experience I received."

"My major was Biblical Text and Preaching. I got minors in Mathematics and Biblical Languages, also. I am more than pleased with the faulty of education I received; not only was it academically and intellectually rigorous it was also spiritually formative. I found myself more than prepared to enter a Church as a minister as well as a rigorous master's program at Duke Divinity School."

"I enjoy the online schooling community and Lubbock provides all that I need in schooling. As an online student I do not experience campus life. Going to school online works great for me as a working adult learner. Being in an environment that nurtures my faith and my education is very important to me; therefore, I researched online schools that would provide a Master's program to help me further my career in a nonprofit organization that provides services for adults with developmental disabilities. Lubbock fit my needs."

"The Mental Health in Counseling Masters degree is proving to be a challenging and very rewarding graduate experience. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and approachable, and truly want every student to succeed. LCU has made the online graduate program feel like you are on campus. The technology is seamless and easy to use, and communications are prompt and personal.I would recommend this program to anyone looking to become a counselor, but lacking the time to attend an on-campus program."

"I am currently leaving the Master's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Lubbock Christian University to pursue a more affordable education elsewhere, which breaks my heart. I love Lubbock Christian University but a private education comes at a high cost. In all, my program would cost me roughly $60,000 over the course of the next two years! This cost does not include housing, meals, etc., as I live off campus several hundred miles away and attend via the online access program. Having completed my undergraduate work at a private university, I expected a higher cost to be associated with my education but felt that my initial information was misleading during my application process. I was quoted an amount of $34,000 for my two years of graduate work only to later be requited $58,500 for three years of work. I was discouraged and knew a change had to be made. I love the amazing faculty and the quality of the education I received, but it all comes down to the finances. I would recommend Lubbock Christian on the basis of its educational structure and challenging courses to someone with ample financial depth. However, if you find yourself in a position where you are unable to fork over such a large amount or find yourself in overwhelming debt, I would recommend a public graduate program. The documentation I was given during applying was misleading but I still feel that the staff are wonderful people!"

"Excellent academic program that incorporates Christianity into the studies. We have at our disposal two Chaplins. A married couple named Kim and Donna. They are very supportive and are hands on in the online program. We also have a prayer room and a Chapel. It exceeds my expectations of a Christian University.. Love it.."

"Lubbock Christian University has an amazing staff that works closely with their students to provide support and help in any area needed. the classes are uniquely taught by knowledgeable and skilled professors. It is definitely high quality education. Unfortunately, Lubbock Christian is a pricey private college that does not have any scholarships available for graduate students"
