"Manhattan college has an amazing student to lecturer ratio. With small classrooms, its hard not to participate or lose concentration during lectures. This helps lecturers connect with their students and make adjustment in teaching style and methods when necessary. The only downside is the ageing infrastructure and the almost non-existence financial aid."

"Manhattan College's graduate program of Special Education was such a fulfilling experience that not only adequately prepared me for my career as a teacher, but still inspires me. Every class that I took focused on a different aspect of teaching and gave real insight into the field, whether it be curriculum, methods, pedagogy, or the social implications of being a teacher. What was special about Manhattan College's program was not just the quality of the classes themselves, but the community that was formed through them. Professors genuinely cared about students and made sure that it wasn't just information they were presenting. They helped us to develop our character, and those values are ones that I carry with me today. Each one was a fantastic example of what a teacher should be- someone who was a guide, supporter, and valued each student for who they were and the unique contributions they made. Great school! had professors who had many years experience in the field, which allowed for real us to understand the reality of teaching, especially through visits we made to classrooms."

"Manhattan College's communications degree is both a challenging and instructive program. The required classes for all communications majors stimulate much thought among students, and prepare them for classes they will take within their concentration. The journalism department teaches students the basics of journalism, but also delves deeper into specific areas of journalism. Through the feature writing class, digital storytelling class, and advanced reporting, students are able to practice their journalistic skills by writing, reporting, and using multimedia."

"Manhattan college is a great school for engineering. The alumni are very involved and the college has a mentoring program. It is a school that offers small classes so your professors really get to know you. The career center is very helpful with finding jobs as well as internships."

"Every program has pros and cons and Manhattan College's School Counseling program is no different. One of the main pros of this program is the care and attention each student receives from each professor. Our professors will everything in their might to help students through school work, recommendation letters, networking, amongst other things. Another pro of this program is the quality of the education. Professors do not teach from the textbook but rather their own experiences. They share their insight which is the reality of the careers. Through their experiences, we the students see that we will not learn everything from the textbook and will not be perfect as soon as we are handed the diploma. Experience is what will enrich out knowledge. Albeit there are pros, the program has cons. The organization of the program is brittle and can be confusing. At times the students do not know who their advisor is or other details that need to be known. This con connects to another which is communication. Both cons hinder the flow of students proceeding through the program. To be fair, the director is working to fix both of the cons and progress has been made. Despite the cons of the program, Manhattan College has an overall great program for School Counseling. Professors are dedicated and the administrators do their best to fix any problems that arise."

"Small Classrooms and very attentive professors makes for a great education. Having New York City to use for internships and student teaching doesn’t get anymore resourceful. High tuition and career services are not great at all."
