"The biomedical engineering (BIEN) department here at Marquette has made such a positive impact on my education. The professors here are thoroughly invested in their students' success in the program. There are many opportunities to get into contact with professors to get help on assignments and exam studying as well as undergraduate research opportunities. Their help in my education was one of the reasons why I decided to stay here for my master's degree."

"I transferred to Marquette University after one year at a different college. As soon as I transferred to the university, the experiences and opportunities that came with being apart of the Marquette community were astronomical. Not only did I gain internship opportunities, I was able to network with professors, who helped me throughout my time there. The course load is challenging, but I believe it is because the professors believe in their students, which gave me the confidence to work hard. Not only did I find support from professor but the university's counseling center also acted as a huge support system to me. I can honestly say that many of the things that I learned during my time at Marquette helped prepare me for my life post college, professionally and personally. I am truly thankful for my time there."

"Marquette University was an amazing fit for me while pursuing my Bachelor of Arts degree. Course offerings, faculty presentation, student organization opportunities, residence life and so many other aspects of the university experience at Marquette were delivered through a social justice lens. I am so thankful for the education I received while at Marquette!"

"Marquette is a fantastic place to get an education! It is pricey, I'll admit, but as a graduate I feel it was worth it. The curriculum is challenging, but the excellent student-to-faculty ratio is great, so you'll be able to get as much assistance and attention as you need. The professors are helpful inside the classroom as well as outside the classroom. There's an abundance of extra curricular groups to join, campus events to participate in, and excursions to embark on. The academic aspect of the school is top notch, and the social and wellbeing aspects are above and beyond!"

"Marquette University is more than just an educational institution. It is a place where the focus is not just on the development of the mind, but rather on the person as a whole. Marquette has a service learning program in which the University partners with several organizations in the community that are in need of assistance. It allows students to learn about the community while giving back, all while earning credit in class. My service learning requirement was one of the most rewarding experiences I had in school. Not only did it help me with my Spanish, but it also helped me learn about myself. You're challenged to be men and women for others, one of the Jesuit principle that can be clearly seen all over the Marquette community. Weather attending Marquette or as a part of the alumni community, the network is strong. There are various alumni groups all over the country. When I moved to a new place, I was able to meet people through the alumni network! While at Marquette I met my best friends, was inspired to pursue my passions and challenged to make an impact on our world. Upon graduating, I was a better person than I was when I first enrolled. From the rigorous curriculum, to pushing you outside of your bubble and challenging you to be a difference maker, an education from Marquette University will surely enrich your life."

"Marquette encourages its students to step outside of his or her comfort zone and fully immerse his or her self in the campus culture. This school places a large emphasis on academics but also in service and helping out the community. Marquette molds students who are well rounded in all walks of life. I felt fully confident walking out of my program and being prepared for my future endeavors. The faculty is very helpful and wants to see its students succeed."

"I strongly believe that college is meant to prepare you for a career in your desired field, and in that aspect, Marquette University is clearly a top university. My career goal is to practice Dentistry, and with that in mind I am working towards a major in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Business Administration. As these are two very different fields, I have had a chance to experience a range of professors at Marquette. Where I believe Marquette shines is that they have a strong focus on real world experience. In the sciences, numerous opportunities are available to do research, intern, volunteer and work in a scientific setting. In regards to business, many of the professors have expansive experience both in the classroom and in the real world, making their ability to teach and impart advice that much more meaningful. In terms of providing a student with the tools to forge a successful career, Marquette University gets it right."

Degree: Spanish
Graduation Year: 2009
"I received a very good education here. The course offerings were diverse and the professors cared a lot about the quality of learning. The curriculum leaves room for you to choose different areas of specialization, which I liked. All students take a comprehensive exam at the end of their program of study--no thesis option. I was a little disappointed that there were no graduate-level study abroad options."

Graduation Year: 2017
"As an exercise physiology major, I had the best instructors I could have ever asked for. I am also in the physical therapy program which is the third best in the nation. The advisors and professors truly want you to succeed and encourage you to work hard. Every professor I've ever had has had office hours that allow me to learn outside of class. The campus is not in the best area, but the police officers are always around and can get to you for help very quickly. They are very friendly and focus on keeping the campus safe."
