"McDaniel College was once known as Western Maryland College. I attended this school Aug 2012 - May 2017. Their psychology program was one of the best programs on the campus. At this time, elementary education was only a minor, it has now become a major. My college career I focused on psychology, I joined the cheerleading squad which became the most diverse the year I had joined. The college has three Black Greek Lettered Organizations that had chartered on the campus from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. (Spring 2013) Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Spring 2016) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Fall 2016) and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc (Spring 2019). There has been an awareness of culture differences as the community continues to get more diverse. The school does an amazing job with the psychology and education programs to include internships to provide real - life experience. You will know automatically if you will continue to have the passion The campus has started to move away from their liberal arts ways and started cutting those programs. McDaniel College has now started to focus on Majors that peak interests in STEM Majors."

"McDaniel College is a great school for undergraduate studies. They offer a wide range of classes so that you can take a variety of courses and choose the ones that interest you most. The liberal arts aspect of the college requires you to take courses in different areas of study which makes their students very well rounded. McDaniel also offers a great study abroad program that every student should take advantage of if attending McDaniel College."

"McDaniel College was the perfect fit for me during my undergraduate career. Its small size allowed me to get one-on-one help from professors, while building close relationships with them and my classmates. The school challenged me and opened my mind to new people and possibilities. It made me a leader, role model, more compassionate, and outgoing. By the time I graduated I felt very well rounded and ready for the world ahead of me. McDaniel College was not only my college institution, but my second home."

"McDaniel College provides an education in which students can experience close one-on-one teacher to student relationships. Professors are mentors in addition to teachers, and truly invest time and energy into the student's learning experience. The highlight of attending McDaniel College for me was receiving a quality education, while experiencing a diverse range of classes, clubs, and campus activities. I would highly recommend attending the school, particularly if you are looking for a beautiful campus with teachers who truly take a keen interest in your learning experience and who desire to prepare you for your career."

"My graduate program is a small program and the class sizes are small. The professors get to know you personally. The program provides hands on experiences."

"The faculty and administration of the accredited masters in counseling program at McDaniel College are friendly, caring, and well organized. The core curriculum is structured and sound. Transportation in the area, to get to and from the college from surrounding cities is extremely poor. Unless you live on campus, it is mandatory to have a car. Also, diversity at McDaniel is low as the county is presides in is mostly rural and farming/agriculturally based."

"The pros about this mcdaniel college, staffs care about you and wants you to succeed. Deaf education staffs are wonderful. Theres many job networks. only con about this school is that they do not offer graduate school housing, forcing people to live off campus. I feel that they should offer graduate housing to promote social network and work together better."

"Pros are you may start anytime and the GRE is not required. Also the technology used in the courses is definitely 21st century. The cons at this point in my course load are none. The faculty makes distance and on campus learning very simple."

"I graduated with an M.S. in Human Services Management. The program layout made it possible to hold a f/t job and attend classes without adding additional stress. The classes were all well taught and very informative. The professors were always available if you had any questions/concerns or needed some additional help. I did not find career services at McDaniel to be of much help other than making some changes to my resume. The professors and other people in your classes are a greater resource as far as networking and providing direction. I received scholarships through my work so I don't know how much aid McDaniel provides financially but the price per credit for the graduate programs is very reasonable considering the undergraduate tuition is on the expensive side."

"McDaniel has made my education very accessible. They come to local high schools and work with the school system to provide tuition prepayment. I have yet to have a complaint about my current program of study in Curriculum and Instruction with Specialization in Administration. The professors are knowledgeable, friendly and have high expectations."
