McPherson College Reviews
Small town college with much diversity. Small class size. The Automotive program has great professors, fun and informative classes, amazing opportunities to travel and be a part of various events, with a nice hometown feel. Helpful and friendly staff.
Very small classrooms give you amazing one-on-one time with your professors, and the liberal arts gen Ed requirements give you a wide range of experience, learning, and social interaction with everyone on campus; the students aren't isolated in their cliques at this school.
Great school just not the right school for me. Also they aren't very quick to work with you on your financial aid and you pay way to much for an average experience. Great professors, nice campus, and a close knit student body were my favorite parts of the school but after being there for a couple years I wanted to enjoy a real college experience and meet lots of new people and I just couldn't get that there. But overall it's a good school!
The only problem I had was after I transferred. I had taken tons of classes at McPherson that didn't count for anything once I transferred to Emporia. Other than that I had a fairly good experience at McPherson.
