"I am currently an online student at Mercer University pursuing my Master's in Public Health. Thus far, this program had been a great experience. I work full time as a fellow at the CDC, so having a good work/education balance is vital. Professors are very organized and post assignments well in advance, therefore making it easy to plan ahead. Follow up is also great; whenever I have a question about an assignment or do not understand something, I am able to call or email my professors for almost immediate correspondence. The material covered is also very interesting and applicable to what I hope to be doing in my career. If you are a full time worker hoping to advance your education in public health, this program and school is definitely for you!"

Professors are dedicated to their students and shares expertise knowledge, as many of them have years experiences with careers in public health. This University values community service, as service hours are required a part of the curriculum. "The class sizes were small and the professors were very student oriented. The internship opportunities were great, and I felt like my program prepared me for my career"

"My program is flexible and the classes are in a convenient location. I like the fact that classes are only two days a week, but I'm getting a quality education with superior faculty in the process. The con would be that because my classes are off-campus I don't always get the full benefits of a major university system."

"The pros of my graduate program result in me being able to advance in my field of study through knowledge and networking while helping me to gain a better understanding of public health with a variety of programs. With a small department the professors are able to provide you with help individually a display the characteristics of helping students in need. The cons of my graduate program is the limit to financial aid provided as well as the lack of graduate assistant-ship programs. Due to this it makes furthering your education extremely difficult because you do not have the funds to pay for your education."
