"Pros: MTSO is a small community that offers the chance for close relationships between staff, faculty, and students. The classes are unique and offer a theological education centered around social justice. MTSO is within a network of other seminaries that offer an even greater diversity to the degree programs. MTSO is located on a beautiful campus. Cons: Other than required courses, classes may or may not be offered every year. Due to the small number of students, classes may get cancelled due to low enrollment."

"This program provides a great deal of education about cultural diversity and trains students to be aware of those differences in our professional lives. The program also helps to enrich the lives of students by encouraging ample personal reflection throughout the process. However, the counseling program is one of their newest programs, and many of the students struggle to find internship placements, and they are pretty much on their own to navigate the program requirements if they want to graduate "on time.""
