"I went into Michigan State University for Communication Arts and Sciences. I feel like the "promises" were always made by teachers to network and get you connected in the right places, that if you put in all the best practices then you would be lifted into good jobs. In my personal opinion (and I'm sure this isn't the case for everyone), I was greatly disappointed. It was a good chance to explore many different topics, skill paths, etc. However, once all is said and done, post graduate assistance and reputation is near zero. You pay the university the most money imaginable and you can work the absolute hardest of anyone and still end up without any resources from Michigan State University. My time in the college was great and full of experience, but the payout of it all was impossibly disappointing."

"Michigan State University was the best choice I could have made for myself. I loved the constant energy of being at a Big Ten school that focused both on athletics and education. It was important that I was an environment that was very social with things to do, but also centered on developing my education."

"I loved Michigan State. It was the perfect place for me. The classes were fulfilling and well taught, and I got to know many of my teachers. I recommend MSU to anyone looking for a place where any opportunity they want is waiting for them to take."

"I absolutely love everything about Michigan State. The staff, professors, athletics, location....and the campus is education every season of the year. My time there was the best four years of my life, which I why I still give back both time & money to Michigan State."

"The biggest thing that I love about MSU is the quality of the faculty as educators, researchers, and people. The departmental environment is exceedingly open and friendly, and you will have plenty to gain from working with these professors! My one major concern is the cost, at least as an out-of-state student. But, generally, that is the case at any major school. There are still numerous opportunities to get funding and scholarships, though."
