"I owe my career success to everything at Michigan State University has taught me. It has the best in the country education regarding Packaging Science and because of the reputation of the program, I've had the chance to work with several large consumer goods companies. It provided me a great foundation in packaging knowledge and readied me for any packaging career right from graduation. I also think the university provided me with alumni network assistance in job searching and networking so that I can broaden my professional field."

"Michigan State University is a college that taught me just what I needed to get my degree as quick as possible so I could get to my goals quickly. It does have many available routes and an active, fun culture around it which is nice but can make you forget about your academics. It is very much a university that will give you what you put in to it."

"I loved my experience at MSU. I think it is a great school with a wide variety of opportunities. The people I met while there are still some of my best friends, and the things I learned in classes helped me get through medical school. The school balances good academics, good sports, and good people/social life. Would highly recommend people considering MSU to tour their campus; it is absolutely beautiful and amazing."

"MSU offers a wide variety of courses and programs so it’s pretty easy to find out what you want to study. It is very big which has its pros and cons. There is a relatively diverse student body as well as a ton of resources available for students. However it is easy to get lost in the population meaning there are some very large classes and it may be harder to connect with professors."

"I took the online Masters program in Pharmacology and Toxicoloy. The classes were self paced, but with a syllabus and schedule that you did need to follow. I felt less stress because I could do the course work on my own time, within the parameters of exams and due dates. I would recommend the program."

"When I was choosing a college, I applied to and toured dozens of schools looking. When I stepped on to Michigan State's campus, I just felt something internally that made me realize maybe I did belong here. The vibes of campus, the level of education, and the supportive feeling were all things that kept me here through graduation. My biggest regret is not staying longer!"

"MSU was an incredible school. It has a very large network in the U.S. and abroad, and alumni + professors are always willing to help current students and graduates with any academic or professional experience. My particular major/college probably has some of the most brilliant professors and researchers who provided a foundational knowledge for my particular area of study. Employment opportunities during undergraduate are available and the school works with you to ensure that you can have the best fitting opportunities for your short-term and long-term goals. I also appreciated the study abroad program which made it possible for me to be abroad in multiple countries during my four years. Definitely recommend!"

"Michigan State University gave meaning to my career goals. Even as an international student without funding, I completed my program without a single debt. I have great mentors who only cared about how I could achieve my goals and reach beyond my desired heights. All through my years at MSU, racism was only a thing I heard on the news. I felt welcome in my classrooms and among my professors, and I received the best support, up to the point of getting my job and negotiating my first salary after graduation."

"MSU was honestly the place that pushed me without taking itself too seriously. Big campus energy but still feels like you can find where you belong. Real hands on stuff, real people, and professors who actually challenge you instead of talking at you. MSU gives you room to experiment, take risks, and actually make stuff happen. It’s not just classes, it’s where you start figuring out what you can actually do."

"Michigan State University is as great of an experience as you choose to make it. The campus is large and beautiful, the student body is huge, and the number of majors for you to choose from is immense. You are sure to find some field of study that piques your interest and I am sure you can find a good group of friends if you attend the clubs that fit with your interests."

"Great Experience! I begin my undergrad degree at Michigan State University by joining the prestigious Spartan family and have truly demonstrated the Excellent work conducted by many bright-minded leaders academically, intellectually, and professionally considering the world's outstanding institution which has proven dynamic research and is similar to Ivy League reputation. Where MSU ranks best among public universities which bring high values after graduates."

"DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!! They have completely changed the curriculum and they DO NOT TEACH!!!! They have tried to copy other schools that are using "flipped" curriculums, but they have done very little preparation! They just implemented the new curriculum in Fall of 2018 and it is a COMPLETE DISASTER!!!! They do not teach the material, they are completely unorganized, and they constantly apologize and tell the students to "be patient" because they are just learning how to teach this way! Most of my classmates are completely fed up, frustrated, angry, and depressed. They do not do anything with our feedback. They have hired a person to oversee the new curriculum and she has never been to vet or medical school and does not know what she is doing! Do yourself a favor and find another school to go to, or you WILL be sorry."

"MSU is a terrific institution with a spirited student body and boundless resources. In my study of History, I encountered some of the most dedicated teaching faculty in my higher education career. They were certainly dedicated to their research, but also to the success and progress of their students. While the university is quite large, I found a home in my college and my degree program. It made my community feel smaller and allowed me to build personal and professional connections more easily. MSU's student services are above average, and readily available for those students who are proactive and seeking help. The students are friendly, and the local community is supportive."

"My years at MSU we're some of my favorite to date. I was blessed with smaller classes due to the size of my program and my teachers were knowledgeable and patient. I was able to participate in a study abroad program to China that changed the course of my future."

"Your program produces "techs" of limited community college "degrees" . You send your "interns" to larger clinics, soon to be corporate. Of course, they are wooed by these clinics, promising all kinds of experience. In reality, those of us who have introduced young people to the honored profession on the promise that they will work after graduation are the losers in this game. We spent two years arranging staff scheduling around your unorganized, hectic, never out on time scheduling. Students arrived tearful almost daily. Despite that, they are "flattered" by offers. We pay four dollars per hour for PART TIME techs than the last student you graduated was offered at a full time clinic. We understand your job; sell this community college paper to make your own living. Shame on you."

"Overall, I enjoyed my time at Michigan State University. From the freshman orientation to graduation, it was an experience that can never be taken away or imitiated. The experiences with all the on campus events especially during home football games were wonderful. Spartan for life. Class of 2006."

"I went to Michigan State University and graduated with a Kinesiology major and a minor in Health Promotion. This major allowed to refine my lecture size and provide more one on one time with my professors, while attending one of the largest universities. After choosing a Kinesiology major, it is even a requirement to decide on a minor, which helps promote a more rounded education, increasing my chances of success post graduation. As I have gone on to further my education with a Master's in Orthotics and Prosthetics, the broad spectrum of health related classes has given students a wide spectrum of professions to plan to prepare for. It provided the large campus, yet intimate class size that I desired for my college experience."

"Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is a great place to receive medical training. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and personable. You get a lot of hands on experience and they go out of their way to prepare you for a residency program. The school offers a lot of different financial aid opportunities as well as help with academic concerns as well."

"Packaging is an evolving field of study that impacts numerous industries. The Master of Science program is well suited for preparing individuals with the educational and business acumen to be successful in various career fields. During my time I completed two internships and a study abroad program which complemented the course material. The faculty stays current with the changing industry climate and adjusts the course material appropriately."
