"Managable course schedule for working adults, I took 2 classes per semester (6 to 8 credits at a time) and graduated in two years. The faculty really go to bat for their students. I ran into some complications during my final semester and my advisor and instructors worked together to help me through it. Earning a BSN added between $15 to $20k to my earning potential as a RN (moving from LTC nursing to acute care) so the education paid for itself in a single year. I highly recommend MSUM Moorhead for your RN to BSN!"

"MSUM is an excellent and affordable university. I had small class sizes, dedicated and knowledgable professors, and access to many resources that helped me obtain my degree. I was able to take the classes that I want, and even design my own course to fit my educational and professional goals. I spent my first year of college at a private college, and was very unhappy with the education I was receiving for the cost I was paying. MSUM had higher quality courses, in my opinion, and more options. The accepted my transfer credits as well as transfer credits from a study abroad program that I completed independently. The professors knew me as a person, not just a name on a roster. I could not more highly recommend MSUM!"

"Minnesota State University Moorhead shaped my career for life. Though in a less popular location, the curriculum offered me all I needed to succeed academically. The tuition is very affordable and most of the professors are hands on. It lacks diversity. I was mostly one of two people of color in 98% of my classes. That aside, the classes were great in that the professors were very thorough and were willing to help students succeeed academically. I would definitely recommend MSUM as a good so for undergraduate education. The location of the school allows for students to be able to concentrate as there are less distractions. There are two graduation ceremonies, this allows students who complete their degree requirement during the fall to attend a graduation ceremony in December. Overall I would give the school 3 out of 5."

"MSUM is a great college that provides its students with a variety of opportunities. It has a small school feel where the teachers get to know you personally. I majored in science and MSUM has tons of opportunities for undergraduate research."

"The school is a great school for the regional area and especially if you want to work in the region. If you want to work outside of the region or outside of the state, this school is not well recognized. The business school is a good school and international business classes were very interesting. Study abroad as much as you can!"

"Passionate professors whose enthusiasm makes learning from them a joy. Small professor to student ratio, so professors get to know you well. My advisor, as well as other faculty members, were very helpful in assisting me with the medical school application and interview process. I felt well prepared for my first few years of medical school and am appreciative of the foundation I was provided with at MSUM."

"At the start of my college education, I didn't know what I wanted to do. By the end, I had a clear goal and career path set. I transitioned from school to internship to full time work quite smoothly, which I owe mostly to the skill set I acquired at college."
