"My program has great faculty support. The professors are always readily available for both career and academic advice. It is a post bac program with classes as rigorous as medical and dental school classes. This gives students the opportunity to be prepared for their next level of education. The location of the program in clinon, ms is he only con."

"The pros of this program include the following: preparedness for medical and dental school curriculum, lower cost compared to other programs, in-and-out of state students are welcomed, wonderful career and academic support, small class size, one-on-one faculty interaction, newly added football-field-sized anatomy lab, great students and southern hospitality. The cons are the following: no affiliation with a medical and dental school."

"The professors are incredible and extremely knowledgeable. The workload was just about right. Difficult, but doable. Cons would be help with career services and the social atmosphere at Mississippi College, meaning not much with either."

"I can only rate my impressions as I am just starting this fall. My experience so far has been nothing but positive. The facilities and staff I have seen and met have been great. I am so thankful to be able to continue my education at a Christian college, and the campus is beautiful. The registration process has been easy even though as a graduate student I don't qualify for any financial assistance from the school. There does seem to be a scarcity of apartments close to MC and the rents seem high for the area. I am struggling to finalize the reservation of an apartment and there is no assistance from Mississippi College in finding housing. I hope I have a place to stay when classes begin in August."

"The graduate program in Counseling at Mississippi College is truly excellent. Most of the professors are very helpful and involved with their students. If I had to list a negative, I would say that there is not enough organization in helping out of state Grad students with on campus jobs."

"Mississippi College has proved me with an excellent education. All coursework taken prepared me for my profession. I must say the faculty and staff of Mississippi College are all concerned about the success of their students. I would recommend Mississippi College to any student that enjoys a small setting, but wants an excellent education."

"The medical science program at Mississippi College is a great program for all aspiring physicians and dentist. Coming out of undergraduate, I was in no way socially and academically ready to begin medical school. After a year in the program at Mississippi College I feel I have learned more than I have at any point in my life. My focus and study strategies have increased to a level I never before thought possible. While my social life may now be non-existent, I still have time to visit other friends who live nearby and fun places (Oxford, New Orleans, Memphis) aren't too far of a drive. I've enjoyed my time at MC and would recommend it to anyone looking for that extra boost to get them in to med school."

"Registration was extremely frustrating. No one could tell me when I was supposed to register. The only way I found out about my financial aid was solely goofing around the website online. The instructors are so much more forthcoming than the admissions and financial aid people. Don't let them bog you down. Great school! Great people....world of opportunity."

"The program is very challenging. It requires the student to be inquisitive and proactive. This is something many incoming students struggle with. It adequately prepares you for the challenges of professional medical studies."

"I am just starting the program so as far as I know from other students, I have to prepare to study all the time for the workload during the semester. The only con I really find is its lack of communication about announcements to students about important events/deadlines. There isn't an orientation for the graduate program so it makes it difficult to find out when the first day of class is, as well as other important information such as how to pick your classes."

"My graduate program is great, I have ran into a "unique" teacher and I hope that as I continue on with my program that the other teachers will be better equipped that she. Other than the high cost of this college, I am quite pleased with it."

"The pros of the graduate program that I am in are that the courses require a lot of time and dedication to obtain a good grade. This program seems like it produces students who are well prepared for any school that they wish to apply to (medical or dental). The cons of this graduate program have to do with the transportation to the campus if the student lives far. There are not any buses available to get around town."

"Mississippi College School of Law is located in downtown Jackson, the capital of Mississippi. It's centrally located, so is easily accessible to the various courts and law firms, including in walking distance to the Capitol, which makes it ideal for any student who seeks to get experience while remaining close to the school. The school also has specialized clinics in various areas like bioethics issues, child advocacy and tax law, etc. making it easy for a student to specialize in areas of their interest. The only downside of the school is where it is located - Jackson, MS doesn't have the best crime rates."

"Mississippi College's graduate program is amazing. The department head is wonderful and the classes are small which helps to have a better relationship with the professor. The program is well suited for the working adult with classes being offering in the evening hours with the ability to take 2 classes in one night. The program does not offer the program online but does offer a few online courses."

"The coursework is challenging, interesting, and pertinent, but the school environment is not up to par with other small private liberal arts colleges in the country."
