State offers a great variety of programs that really cater to each student. The college is very affordable and offers great scholarships to students. The biology department offers special topics classes so students can take classes they want, and staff that is always there pushing us to do our best. The amount of clubs and organizations on campus is extensive and will allow anyone to find there home. State feels like home and strives every day to be inclusive to everyone.

Degree: Human Development and Family Studies, General
Graduation Year: 2016

Mississippi State University has provided me with ample amounts of opportunities. The university guided me in a way that most schools will not. They are always there to make sure your education is their first priority. For me, money was a problem. The student financial aid office has bent over backwards to make sure I can continue my education. Student Financial Aid office has made it possible for me to graduate and has made me want to continue my education by applying for graduate school fall 2017.

Degree: History
Graduation Year: 2016

Mississippi State University is a top choice! The campus is beautiful and the school hosts an incredibly friendly and diverse community. There is something there for everyone, from sport and clubs to music events. Sporting events are always fun with tailgating at the Junction and hanging out in Left Field Lounge. Academic clubs, club sports and general interest clubs give everyone such an opportunity to make friends and get involved. The music events at MSU are unparalleled. Bulldog bash is the main, free event with music and fun for everyone and the highlight of Spring Semester! The history program is outstanding! Classes are available to cover so many areas of history that you can easily study what you are interested in. Classes are a great size and the professors take great interest in their students work. Methods and practices of history are taught that prepare one for a future in history or in preparation for other focuses, like Law School. The History department at MSU cannot be given enough praise. The teachers, the classes, the guest lectures and the general opportunities provided are incredible! Mississippi State University is the best!

Degree: Elementary Education
Graduation Year: 2008

The education program at Mississippi State is by far the best in the state. I felt that I knew all that I could possibly know about education that could be learned outside of the classroom. I felt confident going into my career because the care and knowledge that was shared to me by my professors was very encouraging.

Degree: Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, Other
Graduation Year: 2013

My degree in Business Administration at MSU has helped me tremendously! My major emphasis was in marketing (which I learned to love in Mrs. Moore's Intro to Mkt class), second emphasis was Management and my third emphasis was Finance. This was a great major for me because I was versatile in several different job fields. I was also able to find a great job, just so happens it's located in our rival town, Oxford. However, it's turned out great because Oxford could always use more Bulldogs! Hail State!!
