"When I first decided to go to this school I was informed by the counselors that they were accredited by DESE and that I could do all my classes online except for the first class which I was required to attend class both online and in seat. After a degree audit from by prior school which I graduated from, I was notified that I needed to take a 3rd science class even though their degree program shows only needing 2 which I completed at my prior school and was given credit for by MACC. I over looked this knowing that some school just make you take classes even if you don't need them. After finishing my last term, I went to sign up for my final 3 classes and was informed that I would have to do them in seat at the college (remind you that they said I could complete my degree all on line except the first class). The counselor started naming the classes and the time they are offered I informed him that I was told that I could complete all these online when I first signed up. He responded that these classes are not offered online just in seat. We looked at the times they are offered and they conflicted with my work schedule and when I informed him that the time would not work that I had to be online he stated that he would email the instructors to see if they would open up an online option. This all happened at the end of November the start of December and I still have not heard back from the request. I tried to contact the head of the department on numerous times and to this day I have not heard back from him. I contacted DESE to see what options that I might have do finish my degree and was informed by them that MACC is not accredited by them as a teaching program that they are only a teaching preparation school so you can attend a 4 year college to get a degree. If I have one thing good to say is the classes are not hard to complete. I would not recommend going to this college find one that will better equip you for your future."
