Degree: Radiology Technician
Graduation Year: 2014
"As a 'non-traditional' student, I was very nervous about attending college with students that were fresh of high school. It didn't take me long to realize that my goal of getting a degree was completely attainable. MSU Billings was a great place to go to school. There are tutors available both at City College where I my classes were and on the main campus. Everyone was helpful in getting me on the right track. My professors were excellent in getting me the knowledge required to apply to the Radiologic Technology program. When I got into the program, my education continued in classroom, labs & clinical hours. Today I'm working at a job I love in my home town. I'm so glad I went to MSU Billings City College & got my degree."

Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2014
"The sociology program is hugely underfunded, thus they have a hard time retaining quality tenure track faculty. That being said, all of the faculty I had were incredible, both tenure track and non-tenure track. The upper divisions were small my sophomore and junior year and started to get bigger my senior year because the student growth was occurring more rapidly than the faculty growth. Outside of class I had endless opportunities to become involved and grow as a professional and as a person. I'm grateful for the experiences I had at MSU. Both my classroom and extracurricular activities allowed me to be a competitive applicant to potential employers and I had three job offers before I even graduated. I'm happily now working at MSU, excited to be giving back to the school that gave me so much."

Graduation Year: 2005
"I went to school wanting to be a famous artist, and now I'm a gardener. While my degree has had no impact on Getting the jobs I have had after graduation, many of the things I learned in art school have become invaluable to me in my current and previous works. Go Cats."
