"In 2014 I graduated from Montreat College. I enjoyed my time there for a number of reasons. The first reason I liked the school was for the professors. They took time out of their busy schedules to give extra help to students who needed it and seemed to genuinely care about each student. As it is a smaller school that gives them more of an opportunity to care for the students, but that is still a very unique attribute of the school. Another important reason I liked the school is for the athletics. Sports is a key part to Montreat College and many of the students are athletes. Those who are not a part of a sports team are very likely a big supporter of the teams and there is a big sense of community at the school for that reason. It is very rare that one group of people are singled out or made fun of by another group because the sense of community is so great. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Montreat College. If you like a small close nit feel on a very scenic and beautiful campus that people drive from all around to see than this is the school for you!"
