"Pros: Teachers seemed to be invested in our success. Program consisted of teachers that thought outside the box and pushed the limits to learning in creative ways. Cons: Upcoming changes/uncertainty related to the future of the graduate program served as a distraction at times to current students."

"Some of the classes are challenging with the work loads, while others, the teachers are challenging because they are rude. You have to decide whether to fight rude with rude or be the bigger person so that your grade isn't jeopardized."

"I am excited about attending the M.A. Spanish program at Middlebury College as I will be given the opportunity to study abroad in beautiful Spain and finish my degree in one year. It doesn't get any better than that!"

"The school cannot handle the program. The school unfortunately cannot afford to have it. This is why there are numerous resources lacking for the program. There are too few teachers. This teachers also due to be overworked will make you learn the material on your own with no assistance. The workload assigned is obscene and just way too much to handle even for a graduate program. The International Studies program only has 7 students in it. Students often transfer out due to the ineptitude of the program."

"The university cannot handle my graduate program. It is not funded enough to handle the program. There are too few teachers to teach courses. Courses are far too spread out in terms of years. Courses often do not correlate with the program itself. The workload is extremely heavy, even for a graduate program. Its poorly run as well. This is why only 7 students are apart of the program."

"Currently I’m working on a funded project, which brings our school benefits (money, reputation, etc.). I have co-operated with different faculties toward having successful program and make our school more famous in state of Maryland and among other professionals."

"The university provides access to faculty and the ability to reach out to various levels of administration. They have a great academic reputation and are invested in diversity. I wish the area was a bit safer and that there were some online classes."

"The graduate program is great but they should allow for more online programs and not force students to take classes with particular professors."

"Morgan State offers a Masters and Doctoral Program in Engineering. With the use of the new CBEIS Building, Morgan has started to not only use research as a tool of education but actual practicality. Most knowledge used in the field of engineering is not taught in classrooms or is hard to understand until it is seen in real life applications. Morgan is allowing me to continue my full-time career, while obtaining extra knowledge in and outside the classroom."

"I, who is now an electrical engineer who is attending Morgan State University for the MSEE (Master's of Science program in Electrical & Electronics Engineering) has gone through several pros and cons during the graduate program. To start off the analysis, several of the pros of the program includes great accredibility from the industry and a very successful system in teaching the engineering students. To explain on this a bit, many companies and organizations that I've had the pleasure to interact with are very interested in Morgan State engineering students due to their great reputation in private sector, especially. The system by the school is very successful because they're very knowledgeable in the material and have spent time in the field. However, the program also has several cons to how it operates. The primary cons that I can note are the lack of teaching talent and concerning interest for the students at times. Many of the professors are very intelligent in their respective specializations in Electrical Engineering; however, they don't necessarily know how to teach their knowledge to others. In addition, the teachers seem very lazy in communicating their concern for their students, even the top-performing ones."

"One of the greatest attributes of this graduate program is the ablity to work with nationally respected and much-heralded professors/educators. I cannot say enough about the opportunities it has already presented me with. I am extremely appreciative of the dedication shown throughout the University and especially in my field of study. I look forward to giving back to the program!! I am attempting to receive my Master's Degree."

"The pros of this program are evening courses to accommodate the working adult, professors spend significant time with students, several opportunities to promote professional growth, and scholarship opportunities to curb the cost of tuition. The cons would be the administration are not always helpful, sometimes the rooms are too small to accommodate all of the student load in one classroom. Overall a good experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the program and all of the professors."

"My master's classes at Morgan have been phenomenal! However, the organization of Morgan has left something to be desired. You have to be proactive and advocate for yourself all of the time. As a white student at an HBCU, I have definitely learned many new perspectives that have given me much insight into teaching and education (my current career)."
