"Mount Mary University offered a challenging and interesting curriculum. The campus is incredibly safe and everyone is looking out for your best interest. Professors truly care about your well-being and future success. Faculty members are easily accessible."

"Mount Mary provides an environment where students can really interact with and receive individual attention from faculty and staff. For someone who is looking for a "college experience," the school is a little too small and it is very difficult to find social groups and new friends as most students are commuters. Also, just because the school offers a major, it doesn't mean that the major program is very strong -- this is a great school for Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, and Psychology/Counseling."

"Being in a creative writing program, I would like there to be more writing assignments. I want the staff to push us more, to have more workshops, etc."

"Mount Mary University Masters of Science in Art Therapy is extremely competitive and requires a rigourous amount of study time and imvestment in internships. Though the internship opportunities in the Milwaukee and surrounding areas are varied, the amount of student within one's cohort makes it difficult for quality placement. Get ready for a long ride."

"The faculty is very accessible and knowledgeable. They are very caring and genuinely want each student to succeed. The class sizes are generally small enough to receive one on one feedback and support. Most classes are clearly organized and are obviously valuable experiences."

"Mount Mary is very much about helping you succeed they are not looking to make things as hard as possible. All of the professors discuss with each other to make sure there are not going to be multiple tests in one week, except for midterms and finals of course. All of your assignments and grades are put online so you are not waiting for weeks to get an assignment or your exam grade back. There is always more than 1 professor for every class so you are getting plenty of one-on-one help if you need it. Mount Mary is a great school and I'm very happy with my choice!"

"The pros of this program are that the faculty are always willing and available to help you, there are many opportunities in the Milwaukee area and the commitment to scientifically based practice. The con I have a hard time with is the lack of broadness of journals available through the campus library specifically in the topics of dietetics practice."

"Mount Mary is a very comfortable school to attend. The campus is very small and easy to connect with resources offered at the school. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. One of the greatest attributes is the flexibility with the classes and schedule. Students are able to go at their own pace while receiving phenomenal support from staff. The only negative thing I can report is that the school is outdated and could use some modernization. I would also like to see more diverse population at school."

"Tell us about your college experience.I fit right in college. I was treated with respect by fellow students and teachers even though I was only 18 when starting.Would you get the same degree if you could start over?Yes I would. I have enjoyed my career as an educator and still do.What advice can you offer other students?Make sure you choose a career that you will enjoy for many years. Try it out first. Be an intern or volunteer in the field."

"Mount Mary offers a small school atmosphere with a top of the line education. The professors all have extensive backgrounds in Art Therapy, and have even written some of the major texts on the subject. The small home knit community of class mates makes this program unique and exceptional."

"The pros of being a student at Mount Mary, now as a graduate, include the teachings from current business members, who have knowledge far beyone a text book. I am able to apply what I learn to my current job, while planning a ultimate change in careers. The cons include security on campus (being addressed as I type), and less support and structure for grad students."
