"This college is designated for the younger people, without children who do not have to work for a living.. The curriculum is fast paced and not done well with COVID. The classroom time is cut in half and it is basically self taught. The perspective student cannot work more than ten hours a week. The curriculum has courses with multiple professors that give lengthy assignments in the same time frame to make up for class time. This takes away from study time and there is a major disconnect with the instructors."

"I've heard rather mixed reviews about Nazareth College as a whole. However, I find that the Musical Theatre BFA program is fantastic and EXACTLY what I hoped it would be. Perhaps the biggest factor in my interest and faith in Nazareth's program is that many of the theatre professors are actively working in their respective fields. The actual program itself is quite rigorous, with many low-credit classes that result in more work for less "clear payoff" but significantly more training. On average, musical theatre students tend to load their schedule with a full 19 credits as well as participating in multiple productions a semester. If not cast in a show, there are countless opportunities to work behind the scenes or even present your own student production. In fact- there's so much to do that the rule of thumb is to keep your schedule totally free after 6pm for all the rehearsals that you'll certainly be part of. Even with all of this work, it doesn't feel horribly overwhelming. It's rewarding to be fully pursuing your passion with clear payoff in your fast growth as a performer. Also, both the students and professors in the program are incredibly talented, hard-working, and always willing to lend an ear (or hand) when needed."

"Nazareth's Music Department is a very welcoming department filled with wonderful and passionate professors. When taking a class in the music department; you are in a class of less then 30 students, which I found great. Your professors want to get to know you and want you to succeed. The staff is always there to support you and help you throughout your undergraduate career. The Music Education Program is a very small tight-knit community where you will be able to have hands-on experience in your first year. Finally, at Nazareth, community is an important concept that is promoted throughout the campus. There are so many wonderful clubs and activities to join and the administration is always open to creating new clubs/activities. You will instantly feel at home once you step on the campus."

"Nazareth College helped assist me with my undergraduate education. I was an independent adult student who took five years off between my first year and my second years. Nazareth as a whole, was very accessible and welcoming. The provide many outreach groups for various situations. The school is also a safe space for the LGBTQ community. The school also offers a variety of art medium courses. I am grateful for my time at Nazareth."

"Nazareth College is a small, tight knit community. There are many opportunities to meet new people and work with peers to better the campus. I found that the music education program sets you up for success. I am in my first year of teaching and I have used all the tools provided in my undergraduate courses to help me. The music department is continuously growing and pushing students to be the best that they can be, by providing a variety of performance opportunities. There is also an ensemble for students who are not music majors and just want to continue playing a musical instrument. This would be a great school for anyone who is looking for a small school, where professors know you by name and enjoy getting to know you as a person and want to see you succeed."

"Great school, great atmosphere, a lot to do around campus, and neighboring towns. Professors and faculty seek the interest of the student's and try their hardest to match/assist student's with their needs. Many groups to join and a lot of opportunities to volunteer, and be active within campus"

"This program definitely prepared me for working in the field at a graduate level, but unfortunately the program was not flexible for non traditional students (especially those with jobs and families)."

"Nazareth College is an excellent school to attend for an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. There is a live clinic on campus which allows students to get hands on experience at the undergraduate level. The clinic also promotes interdisciplinary practice between Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Music Therapy, and Art Therapy. Within the Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, all these disciplines work together to help improve client's and student's experience of care. Nazareth is a small school allowing for small class sizes and a close knit community. Due to the small size it is common that professor's know your name and even remember you a couple years down the road. They are always concerned with how you are doing and will put in extra time to ensure all of their students exceed. Nazareth is a very student driven college; students needs always seem to be on the top of the list. Nazareth College is a great choice for anyone interested in studying Communication Sciences and Disorders."

"The program was well organized. They helped you keep track of all requirements towards certification and graduation. Many professors were still working in the field while acting as professor, so they were able to keep current with the realities of the workforce."

"The GRC MSW program is a collaboration of both Nazareth College and the State University of New York College at Brockport. It's a program with great connections within the Rochester and surrounding communities, so I have had the opportunity to develop positive and collaborative relationships with local agencies as well as secure incredibly challenging field placement opportunities. The cons of this program are its communication issues between faculty, adjunct faculty and its students in regard to syllabus-required coursework as well as not offering more macro-related courses, but I'm hoping they will continue to work on these issues moving forward. It is a challenging program and I've learned so much about the field of social work, about myself and the community at large."

"Nazareth College is the best school I could've chosen to obtain my degree from. The professors are outstanding in their knowledge and accreditation as speech-language pathologists. I have many opportunities to explore my strengths as a future SLP and great support throughout. Affording an education at this university has been a challenge. However, the career outcome will be worth it."

"I like the small class sizes of the graduate classes and the commitment from all of the professors in the program. I do wish there was more funding available for graduate students for the college as a whole."

"Nazareth's Education Department provides students with a rigorous program that immerses them in every aspect of the field of education. Although this requires a lot of commitment from the students, the payoff is well worth all of the time and effort that you are required to put in. The staff are all a wealth of knowledge and provide a great deal of support both in and out of the classroom. However, Nazareth is very costly and the amount of debt one goes into by attending the school is overwhelming. But you are prepared for that from the beginning and know what to expect when you attend a private college. Overall, I am very happy with my choice to attend Nazareth."

"There is a large workload and it can be stressful but I think this is expected at any graduate level Speech Pathology program. I know that I am receiving a quality education and all of the professors are very supportive. The program is constantly trying to make improvements to prepare students for life after graduation."
