I'm in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, my professor is Dr. P. in the Flushing weekday class, Dr. P. is a Great Professor equipped with a wealth of knowledge. Class material is hard, but she presents it in an extremely easy manner. I learned a lot and she was very helpful. She helped me prepare for my board exam and I feel very confident of the material. This program has shaped my intellectual foundations for both precise scanning methods and clear thinking; more than any thing else in my academic training. Our professor used clear and understandable medical terminology precisely in every day sonography. She gives excellent lectures through didactics and also she is very knowledgeable in clinical sonography. We can relate the class work to the lab. The hands on experience in the lab has made this even more exciting to learn. Dr. P. has great tips in the lab for scanning for images. The central concepts are well covered. I would recommend it to those who have taken any medical courses and want to relate what they have learned. This program has definitely prepared me for the future in sonography and I am excited to embark on this new career path that I have chosen for myself.
