"I am new to the Center for Experimental Humanities at NYU, but I am thrilled to be a part of such an interdisciplinary and wide-ranging program. My focus is on music and social justice, and this program not only encourages, but nearly requires me to take half of my credits from other Graduate Programs within New York University. The encouragement, energy, and excitement that I have received from advisors taking an interest in my passions is inspiring and affirming. Within a huge university, this program has managed to maintain a small liberal arts college feel with small class sizes, great access to professors, and gentle guidance when necessary."

"I'm in a Master of Fine Arts program that takes place in Paris, France. I work with some of the most distinguished writers and professors in my field in the world's epicenter of art and culture, Paris. I see potential in my career and academic pursuit of a Ph.D due to this program and feel NYU continues to be a top institution for the field of Creative Writing. My school also offers support and mentors for graduate students, which I find as a plus. I work with writers of all ages and some who are already teaching professors who live in other countries. Financial Aid is tricky as an international student and any scholarship helps, but this experience has been so much of what I have desired for my graduate education."

"Excellent program for those wanting to pursue a career in translation. Online courses provide students with freedom and flexibility all the while proving to be adequately challenging."

"NYU's speech pathology program will prepare any student to be the best speech pathologist he/she can be. The program pulls out the best in it's students by challenging them to think critically and make the best decisions for future clients. Unlike many other programs, NYU provides the opportunity for students to take all core classes prior to enrolling in the clinical practicum. This allows students to be fully committed to clients and identifying their strengths and weaknesses prior to graduation. I really enjoyed my experience in NYU's on campus practica. I must admit it was tough and I was pushed to what I thought was my limit by both clients and supervisors. But i made it through! I did exceptionally well. It takes dedication, good time management skills, ability to accept criticism and passion to succeed there. I think that's what makes this program one of the best. The professors and supervisors are very knowledgeable and very supportive. Graduate school will never be easy so as long as a student works hard, truly loves speech-language pathology success is a must in this program! Oh, there are also many opportunities to participate in research studies and attend many outside educational workshops that only allow NYU students to attend. Thanks for reading and all the best if you decide to apply. There will be times when you will feel defeated and you will want to compare yourself to others. Don't! You can always do it if you really want it. Rise and just push through!"

"Excellent, challenging program that focuses on what should be highlighted within the translation field. It touches on both theory and practice, so it is a very well-rounded program."

"The NYU program for a Master of Science in Translation is excellent. Given that it is strictly online, I could only judge certain aspects from a limited point of view (such as social life). The courses and their respective professors have been nothing but top tier, and the workload, although challenging, is necessary and productive for becoming a successful translator. I highly recommend the program to anyone considering a career path in translation."

"Great resources, excellent faculty and couldn't ask for a better location. Programs to facilitate undergraduate research are lacking though. Also, the Masters program seems to have less access to resources than the PhD program."
