Degree: Computer Science
Graduation Year: 1996

I really enjoyed attending the college. This college has given me a jump start for my career. The Computer Science department was such a great department, which had a curriculum that was catered to the business industry. The engineering department was able to recognize the computer science students within their college.

Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2014

North Carolina A&T State University provided me with the necessary skills to succeed. I still to this day keep in touch with my professors who had open door policies and not only helped with school work but acted as advisers for emotional support. The school was very family oriented and there were plenty of functions and activities. I enjoyed my time at A&T. I still actively participate as a proud alum of the university and speak on panels and at different events.

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2017

If your looking for a school where group chat will get you a degree go here. If you want a degree that will set you up for a career and an institution that will ensure you learn along the way, go elsewhere! Teachers are outdated and the school does nothing to ensure they are up to date with society and other universities.

This institution represents the pinnacle of achievement for Engineering Students of color as A&T produces them at the highest rate in the nation. This institution has an incredible business school, journalism school among other highly accredited programs. The culture of North Carolina A&T is unparalleled by any Historically Black College or University (HBCU). There is a large sense of family among our students, regardless of the fact that there are more than 13000 students attending. My school not only served to further my education, but my heart, through volunteer work in the community. There are over 100 student-led organizations on campus, each dedicating many hours in volunteer work. The result is that A&T not only serves to educate, but to provide a hand up to the surrounding community with which it has grown for the past 126 years. Security can always be an issue on college campuses. A&T has taken great steps to reduce the risk of crime. There is a police headquarters on campus, along with a mobile police headquarters. There are multiple police boxes stationed around campus. Residence Halls may only be accessed with a key card. Rooms may require an additional set of keys or use of keycard. They have Resident Assistants (RAs) who respond to any inquiries that may arise, along with residence hall officers (RHOs) which patrol when night falls. I would recommend this institution for their overall excellence. It is truly an experience. The homecoming is unlike any other. With a nationally (maybe internationally) known band, and multiple award winning performance groups, you will receive quite the show! Aggies are bred for excellence!

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2017

As I do attend the top public Historically Black University known as North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University (or North Carolina A&T), I can attest that this university is the best by far. What makes my university so awesome you ask? Many things but primarily the culture. When I started school I immediately got involved in my department, I was told that all students majoring in social work will have an internship prior to graduating. I thought that was great because students can gain work experience before entering the work field. As a senior, I am currently completing my social work field internship with Communities In School of Greater Greensboro(CIS), a dropout prevention program assisting high school students. Ultimately, this experience has allowed me to see the need for and importance of social workers. There is nothing better than witnessing the progress made in the lives of children, youth, and families that I have served and the impact that I have had on their lives. I thank A&T for allowing me to find my purpose and passion with social work.. Taking the challenges that I will face in my future, I will remember what I learned from A&T. I look forward to achieving and gaining a better perspective on life.

NC State is a great school, located in Raleigh, NC. Raleigh is a vibrant city, not just a college town & is also local to the Research Triangle Park (RTP). RTP is full of business and opportunities for careers/internships. NC State is the largest University in the state, which means that class sizes, especially for introductory courses, can be large and without any personal attention. Your experience at NC state will all depend on what opportunities you seek out for yourself. There's plenty of opportunities to get involved, get academic help if needed, and succeed - if you seek them out and put your mind to it.

Degree: Architectural Engineering
Graduation Year: 2017

North Carolina A&T State University was the best decision of my life. The campus, although an HBCU, provides great diversity and a rich history. Coming from for the west coast, the students and staff provide the typical "southern hospitality" one could expect and was able to help me make North Carolina my home away from home. Now that I have completed my degree, I have found that the courses have truly prepared me for the real world and are in the same caliber of other Architectural Engineering programs from around the country. If it weren't for this university, I would not be the confident, successful engineer that I am today.

The experience of going to North Carolina A&T is one that I and every student that attends will cherish. The experience of attending and HBCU is not like any other. People always talk about the Greatest Homecoming on earth but the school is much more. The professors that you will meet and have a chance to learn from can propel you in any endeavor that your heart desires. The student interaction and the special feeling of being a part of history can not be compared to any other school. A school that creates an environment of growth and expands itself and demands its student and facility life to do the same is a place for a person that wishes to become greater than their own expectations. Aggie what Aggie Pride!

When looking at colleges during my senior year of high school I was completely overwhelmed. I applied here on a whim, because one of my friends said that the campus was beautiful (she had visited it the previous summer). I remember this was the first institution I was accepted to, however it wasn't tat the top of my list. Around February I was invited to come and visit for scholars day. After walking around campus that day I knew that this is where eIw anted to call home for the next 4 years. The campus is beautiful, not too big, but not too small. The professors are extremely personal and will really work wit you to ensure that you are getting the most out of your education. I would definitely recommend anyone who is considering attending here to not only apply, but visit.
