"Northeastern's co-op program is the primary reason that it's a quality school. This really does prepare you for real life and helped me and many others get careers after college from connections we'd made during our co-ops. If you're not interested in co-oping or want to have every summer off, Northeastern isn't for you.I'll say -- this school isn't worth the loans for how expensive it is. You can get a comparable education for less. If you don't get scholarships, it's not worth it."

"Northeastern University is situated nicely in the Boston area, a hub of scientific innovation. For this reason, the networking opportunities and ability to find a job in the field of science immediately post-graduation is the best quality of attending NEU. The biggest con of this school is a high cost of living, notorious for the Boston area."

"Currently enrolled in the Plus One program for chemistry. I have just finished the undergraduate portion and will complete the graduate portion next year. However, as part of the program I have already had to take 16 credits of graduate level courses and have been working on research that will be a part of my Master's thesis. My particular program only applies to people who attended Northeastern as an undergraduate. The courses I have taken are some of the same that would be taken by students in the PhD program. I believe Northeastern has a great program and the classes are of high quality. I don't think you'll be disappointed in an education here and the school is very popular with many companies in the area. The biggest downside is probably living expenses (located in Boston so rent is expensive). If you are in the PhD program then tuition is covered. That is no the case for my program, however, and the cost of attendance is rather high."
