"A lot of the online classes that i've taken either lacked the proper instruction for assignments, or the professors made their module listings a bit unorganized, which in turn caused me to miss a few assignments. I cannot say that the experience is entirely bad due to the fact that there is another opportunity to retake classes. Other than this, I can say that I am not fully satisfied. I don't feel like I've learned what I intend on learning for my future career."

"Attending at NOVA has been the best choice for myself and my education. It saves money and I have been liking all of my classes over the past year! The professors really know their material in their subjects. The campus is pretty medium-sized. Easy to walk around. You see people that you know from your high school and hopefully made new good connections. It's easy to register your classes, and the advisors and counselors there are helpful too. I recommend taking 2 years from your life to go to a community college if you are comfortable with it!"

"Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is an excellent place to begin your degree program or to take courses for continued education credits. Enrollment to NOVA is easily completed online with payments made at the time of enrollment or through the financial office. The bookstore staff is extremely helpful with selling old books and assisting students find the books for upcoming courses along with any other supplies that will be required. I found the instructors knowledgeable about the subjects they were teaching and willing to take the time to answer questions outside of the classroom. The instructors always interacted with the students during class and helped make the course a positive experience. As an adult student, the instructors never made me feel out of place with a classroom full of much younger peers. I found the campuses impressive with state of the art computer rooms, available tutoring and areas where study groups could meet. When I transferred to another school, I found it easy to obtain copies of my official transcripts and had no problems with my credits transferring. The administrative staff was eager to help me with my transcript request and I received them very quickly. I would highly recommend NOVA to anyone who was thinking of obtaining a degree, looking to take core courses towards an undergraduate degree, or in need of taking continued education credits."
