"Northwestern is a private institution that prides itself on providing a quality education and an extensive network. It does do both, however, for students pursuing doctoral degrees in the hard sciences there was not enough career planning assistance. It was not advertised that getting a PhD in Biology isn't very useful in the job market if you do not plan to be a professor or research scientist after you graduate. We were not told about other possible career options, or that the job market was flooded with PhD's who could not find a job in their field since there were more applicants than available jobs."

"Northwestern University has a very high standard for academic rigor and provides an abundance of opportunities to really explore subjects. The professors are all very knowledgeable and the class sizes are very small so students truly get individualized attention."

"Northwestern University is a school that prepared me greatly for life post-college. The academic rigor that I experienced was not only catered to my interests in the social sciences, but also set me apart from my peers who attended the other universities. My degree program at Northwestern was holistic and provided me with many opportunities to explore what routes I wanted to take after graduating."

"There is a reason it is recommended that you take this program one class at a time; it is a very intensive program. However, it allows you to make connections with various individuals across the country, and world sometimes, working in your desired field (Instructors) or studying right along with you to get there."

"Northwestern University has great online Master's degree programs for professional students. The courses in my program that the university offers have greatly increased my knowledge about data analytics and I have learned so much from them since I started the program more than my college years. The professors are people who have tremendous real life experience in the program and they are doing a great job relating real life situations with the theories we are learning in the courses. I am still in the process of completing my Master's degree but I never have felt this excited before in taking courses. Although it is hard to balance between work and school, I am grateful to have given the chance to get my Master's degree while working. The classes are all online but the professors are very helpful and considerate of their students. I definitely recommend Northwestern University to professionals out there who are planning to get their Master's degree and want to improve their skills and knowledge in their current profession or anyone who is planning to change his or her career but not able to give up his or her current job to be a full time student. It is worth it and definitely a great investment."

"I cannot recommend Northwestern enough. The university is truly exceptional, beginning with the application process. I was contacted to clarify aspects of my application and ensure that all supporting documents were included before submitting it to the reviewers. Following acceptance, responses concerning financial aid and online access were always quick, professional, and helpful. The courses are taught by experienced and prestigious faculty, and the amount I have learned in just a few months is incredible."

"It was a great program. It helped me learn much about public policy and the legislative process. Prior to enrolling in this program, I wanted to go to law school. However, I ended realizing that what I really wanted to do could be achieved with a public policy masters. I don't regret it, and I highly recommend it!"

"Since the moment of my application, till the moment of my enrollment everything was easy and obvious. As soon as you enter the website, you can find any information that may be needed for you to enrollment. After your application was submitted, it takes a very short time till the school sends you an answer. Unlike other schools, Northwestern has a specific requirement of a video interview. The video is recorded via the platform provided by school. The questions are non-trivial what makes the whole process even more interesting. As soon as you are admitted, school starts to send you helpful and informative e-mails with the next steps. It really helps and encourages to choose this school among other schools. The whole program is well-composed and consists well-balanced courses. Sometimes you even cannot decide what to choose because everything is extremely interesting. Northwestern University is a place where everything inspires you to study and achieve success, because you believe that nothing is impossible."

"This was the best decision I ever made. I decided to quit my job and go full-time to the Kellogg School of Management. My earning potential nearly doubled and my career skyrocketed after I graduated. Their marketing focus, high class faculty and diverse student body gave me an edge against other applicants in every job. Still today - years later, I still feel the impact it had in my career"

"Northeastern University is an incredible establishment that prepares students to enter the workforce and make an immediate difference after they graduate. I believe they are better at this than any other school thanks to the co-op program and fantastic career advisory. The student body is diverse, interesting, and very active. The architecture program is extremely rigorous, but it gives students tools, knowledge, and connections necessary to succeed after graduation."

"The program was very well designed. The program is an eighteen month full-time program. Course work was challenging including asynch work as well as live classes online. The students were placed in practicum by a placement specialist that fit your future work desire. Furthermore, the class size and professor knowledge was an added plus. Lastly the program provided engaging reading materials and support from the faculty."

"The Kellogg MBA has been tremendously beneficial for my career. Shortly after completing the degree, I was able to transition into a new industry that I had intended to prior to enrolling, and also attained a 105% pay increase over my pre-MBA pay. The networking opportunities were incredibly valuable, and I will have lifelong friends as a result."

"Northwestern University did not disappoint in terms of academic rigor and the quality of education as one would expect from a top tier college. As for student diversity, of course, there was plenty of diversity in terms of the students pursuing various career goals, as well as plenty of diversity in ethnicity, gender, and other forms of identity. That being said however, I felt as though during my time at Northwestern University, I was too caught up in academic rigor that in the long run, I did not have as many chances to truly mix with such diversity in the long run. This in part, I feel, is due to the fact that the schools within Northwestern (Engineering, music, etc.) are mostly separated from each other, with little chance to interact amongst each other outside of class. It would have been far more fortunate if the school encouraged a lot more openly some opportunities for students of all of Northwestern's schools to intermingle with each other."

The faculty and students all collaborate and challenge each other to solve real world business problems. If you have the chance please look at pursuing an MBA from Kellogg. It will be the best decision you make"

"Northwestern University - School of Professional Studies offers the rigorous coursework and experience needed to complete a degree in Health Informatics or any subject matter while pursuing a professional career. I was able to continue full time employment as an electrical engineer while completing my masters in health informatics. The advisors and administrators are very passionate and always willing to listen and help. What makes the experience grand are the students and your peers. The collaboration and diversity of classmates from all around the world was amazing to experience. If all goes well, I'll be back for my MBA. Go WildCats!"
