"The graduate program has an exceptionally supportive atmosphere that is competitive but also creates the space for help and constructive feedback from students and professors alike."

"The Speech-Language Pathology concentration at Northwestern University is a fantastic learning experience. The work-load is hard to bear at times, but the faculty are absolutely amazing and very supportive. The program is on the brinks of opening a new state-of-the-art clinic that will propel the program even higher in ranks. Though the tuition is extremely expensive, the education provided is invaluable."

"Great experience at Kellogg. Wish the academics could have been slightly more rigorous, but I got a lot out of the experience."

"The Engineering Management program is an excellent option for someone interested in an MBA, but wanting to maintain the technical aspects of his/her career. The MEM program allows students to take technically focused courses, as well as "business" courses geared towards engineers. I have had a great experience in the program and have made invaluable connections."

"Pros - Kellogg has been consistently ranked over the years as a top business school which speaks to the quality of the program. - Good finance and marketing program - Tight knit community – encourages networking and team work - Qualitative soft skills will be developed alongside quantitative skills Cons - Not regarded as a "finance school" when compared to its neighboring Chicago Booth or Wharton"

"Northwestern is one of the best places in the country to study journalism and is next to Chicago. The program is costly, but the school does gives students some funding."

"PROS: Great culture. Great faculty and a great marketing curriculum. The student body is second to none when it comes to balancing personality and intellect. I love my classmates. CONS: It's a large program so it's easy to feel like a number. The tuition is expensive and there aren't many opportunities for financial assistance. Living in Evanston is ridiculously expensive. I wasn't expecting that."

"Northwestern's graduate program in elementary education is strong. I felt very supported by faculty and loved that choice to student teach in either an urban or suburban classroom. It is uncommon to find both options in a single program. Cost of living can be a bit expensive due to the close proximity of Chicago, but Chicago is such a wonderful city that it is worth the cost. The Master's Project research program is also a unique experience unavailable at most other schools. Highly recommended!"

"Northwestern is a top-notch graduate university and I love my program. Having professors who are highly sought after in their field is fantastic, but it means they are not always as accessible as I would like; however, I have always felt that the proverbial door was open should I have questions or concerns."

"Not the best organized department but the student organization for BME (BMEGS) is great! It's been a great opportunity for leadership for me and they helped hugely with my transition to graduate school. I have loved it at Northwestern and would recommend it to anyone!"

"Excellent school with and excellent program. If you are dedicated to teaching, you will receive a quality education on the subject at Northwestern. The University itself if quite pricey and not very diverse, but if you want a quality education, it is worth some sacrifices."

"The MD program at Feinberg School of Medicine is student based, with incredibly devoted faculty and staff. However, the in-class time commitment is very heavy and attendance is taken in many first and second year classes which is a drawback. I believe that it is worth it though as the resources and hospitals I have access to for my 3rd and 4th year outweigh the lack of independence in the first 2 years."
