"I am an international student. Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, at Notre Dame de Namur University, was my best option for pursuing my master degree. Their study plan distinguish from other university with excellent characteristics of good learning outcomes. Also, they offer one year of practicum which is the most important concern for graduate student. We got to learn more about our self by the self-reflection papers we were assigned. Not to mention, the professional professors at this university. I had a great and broad experience overall."

"NDNU offers a great practical program. While theoretical orientations are well covered, all of the professors have extensive clinical experience and integrate it well into their classes. The practical prientation really enriched the learning experience."

"The professors are incredible and give you a lot of knowledge about different clients you may have. You get to apply that knowledge fairly often in class such as how you would treat this client or what you think the underlying issue is. You are constantly gaining knowledge which is great."

"The MS program of clinical psychology has much support from the faculty and staff there. They are on top of things and care a lot about the students they teach. Classrooms tend to be small and the professors always learn your name within a couple of meetings. Class usually hold great discussions about the readings assigned and tie it with everything related to the career of psychology. The down side is the cost of living in the Bay Area and there is hardly any help for graduate level students."

Instead, the program provides knowledge on a wide variety of different views, modalities, and therapeutic interventions and techniques."

"Notre Dame de Namur provides a unique combination of welcoming diversity and academic rigor. As a person with a full-time day job, NDNU was a perfect fit because most of the classes are in the evenings and weekends. The orientation is eclectic in the modalities taught but with a strong leaning toward psychoanalytic understanding. Cross-cultural appreciation and community involvement are also stressed. My time at NDNU has been the most enriching time of my life. At age 50+, it's never too late to expand your career."
