"Doing my MBA at Oklahoma State University was a wonderful experience. Pros: The professors are very knowledgeable and at the same time very helpful and understanding. There are a wide range of courses taught and available electives. There is also a real since of unity among the MBA students which you don’t get in undergrad. The OSU campus is beautiful and it has an amazing recreation center for students. The campus is also very lively with events always going on. Cons: The biggest con for the program was the connections that the school had with outside industries. Most of the companies that were interested/visited the campus were big energy companies like Exxon and ConocoPhillips. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but does limit the types of companies that the students are exposed to."

"The pros of the Education Teaching learning and leadership in Special Education allows educators to increase their working knowledge of the growing population of students with special needs. Currently the only con that I have experienced is the times that classes are offered are not conducive to current classroom teachers. OSU-Tulsa currently starts the first class of the one day a week schedule at 430. This allows me 35 minutes to leave my classroom in Stillwater, OK and travel 50 minutes to Tulsa, OK. This is not possible however the professors understand allow for a few minutes of tardiness."

"The memories I have established at OSU I will cherish for a lifetime. The campus is beautiful. I would often spend my time studying outside near Theta Pond which provided a serene, relaxed environment. I do not recall having any difficulty finding classes as students were very informative and willing to lend a helping hand. My best advice is to obtain the necessary information to keep you on track to graduate. I had a difficult time and various opinions from advisors regarding classes to take and as a result, registered in two classes that were not required in my degree plan. In addition, enjoy your time in college. Yes, strive for success but at the same time take time to enjoy the years you will spend there. Participate in extracurricular activities. There are so many available posted everywhere on campus you will most certainly find something you enjoy and meet new people in the process. Establish relationships and get to know your professors. They hold the key to enabling you to find a successful career. OSU is a great school. I miss it dearly and go back often to visit. GO POKES!"

"The graduate program has been very beneficial already. I have only been there one semester and I have learned business management techniques, 3D and 4D modeling, and pavement design. The work load is somewhat heavy for me, but that could also be because I am working 30 hours a week at the ODOT office in town. They are about to open a new structural lab which will help increase the use of technology and hands on access. Financial aid is a little weird. I got a scholarship, however I can't apply for any. It all must be recommended by faculty. this wasn't the case for undergraduate. So you never know if your name is in the loop for some scholarship, therefore you have to work harder on outside scholarships. Stillwater is a great town and Tulsa and OKC aren't that far so the surrounding area is great. Parking is a little stressed but everyone needs to walk a little each day. Campus has a great safety system setup with emergency stations very present as well as a safe walk program for nights if you don't want to walk by yourself back to your car. The engineering college is great about giving you every opportunity to connect with employers including a giant career fair every fall just for engineering students. The social life is all up to you. With over 500 groups on campus and plenty of off campus activities, a person has no trouble getting connected wherever they want."

"I attended the online MBA program while working full-time. The program was interesting and I learned a great deal in the process. The class was very diverse. Since it was fully online, we had many military and students overseas. I would recommend the program to anyone that is unable to attend in a classroom setting due to work travel/schedule."

"I think it's a really underrated and under-recognized institution when it comes to national articles and ratings. No, we don't have the fancy facilities that others schools do but we have a solid core educational program and an excellent team of academic doctors and practicing doctors."

"That it is an internship. I work for 2 months, then back to school for 2 months and it goes on continuously until October of 2016. I find the pros of my graduate program to be that I don't get bored at life! I get to go to school and learn something then go apply it at work where it becomes beneficial and I experience more at what i want to do for the rest of my life up until retirement. I feel that the way that this [the program] is set-up is perfect! We get to work hard and play hard at both college and work! The cons, I would say maybe are the financial costs of the courses per semester. Nearly estimating around 5,800. For someone that only works for 2 months and works the average 40 hours per week, it is kind of difficult to save and earn the money without having to sacrifice social activity or personal time. Overall, I feel that this program is great because I get to be taught what I'm going to be doing prior to returning to work, and besides the fact that I get to work with different types of people from around the nation, its good that I get to learn from everyone's standing point of view."

"There are not many schools that offer a Master's degree in Fire and Emergency Management like mine. It is a unique and high quality program that will provide me with many opportunities in the field of fire and emergency management. The courses can be taken online or on campus, so it is very flexible."

"The Oklahoma State MBA program is nationally renowned. It is a great program, especially for distance students who do not want to go to a degree mill type of school. It offers a variety of classes, though not always available. Most of the professors I have dealt with have been helpful and understanding. Although the OK State MBA program is longer than most there is more quality education that students are getting from the school."

"The Pros to this university is that it is a small town with a large university. You essentially receive the best of both worlds. Low crime, a lot of places to eat, the campus is safe as well as the surrounding area. The level of competition is low, which can be seen as a good or bad aspect. Also, the staff can sometimes lack in some areas of education and advising. Overall a decent school."

"I am only in my first year of graduate school but I think my graduate program has been amazing so far. The faculty and staff are all so approachable, friendly and incredibly helpful in any way possible. The program is accredited by CACREP who came and did a site visit to renew our accreditation a few weeks ago and we got great positive feedback about the program. I feel incredibly passionate about my education and I am extremely lucky to be attending such a great program that is also accredited because I know they are preparing me with the best education possible."

"The faculty at OSU are fantastic! They care and most of the time they are working on some sort of research which warrants the need for help. They hire students to conduct research which helps them in the job market down the road. As far as cons I would say that the Graduate college is small in engineering and in need of more publicity. Also the scholarships offered are nil to scant."

"The Fire and Emergency Management Master's Level degree is great. The networking alone makes it worth it. The classes are very costly if you are from out of state, but the instructors are very well versed in many aspects of the field."

"For anyone who is interested in Wildlife and Environmental studies, this is the perfect school. I suggest going after you already finished your basics at a community college. It is much more inexpensive that way and if you are going to spend that much money, it needs to be because you are doing something you love getting up early every morning to do."

"So far so good. The faculty and staff have been extremely helpful and attentive to all of my questions for the online MBA program. The online classroom is very easy navigate and my teacher is quick to respond to queries. The only thing that could take my experience from a 9/10 to a 10/10 is a little more instruction and/or advising about how to take an online class as this will be my first time. Other than that, I am really looked forward to furthering my education with OK State."
