"Pros: My professors are reasonable, practical people. Of course, some professors are more stellar than others, but they ALL know what they are lecturing on, and hold highly respectable positions in their other professions. They don't give busy work, because they realize that would hurt them just as much as the students. A few of the students in the program are humble people, if you need help and they know how to help, they will. They know that no man is an island unto himself, and that we are in this together. With that mentality we are able to do better academically, not feeling embarrassed. Cons: My school doesn't have any scholarships/grants for graduate students. So the only aid is loans. My school's tuition and other fees are exorbitant! I refuse to take out any loans knowing that I would have to be paying the interest compounded on what my school is asking for. That is why I am struggling to pay for my tuition by working. Lastly, we also don't receive some of the perks that undergraduates receive. As I mentioned previously, that undergraduates receive school scholarships. They also receive an incentive to sign up for summer courses.  Graduate students are excluded."

"The pros of the forensic science graduate program at Pace University are that some of the faculty you interact with have worked in the forensic science field. They were able to give a more realistic lesson on the actual field work and not just theory. The faculty are good for networking purposes too for after graduation. The major con of the program include that the forensic science graduate program isn't accredited yet."

"Overall I was disappointed with my experience here at Pace and would not recommend their Forensic program. The dean of the program is impossible to get in touch with, he does not respond to emails forcing you to sit outside his office and hope wait for him to arrive. He never offered any guidance for internship or thesis."

"The school is located in Manhattan, meaning that there are tons of opportunities at arm's reach. The professors all work in the field, some at the NYPD, so they have real life experience. The downside is that the school is expensive. Also, housing is very expensive as it is New York."

"Pace overall is an okay school and it is evident that many of the undergraduate students do not feel the need to really strive for high grades. However, the graduate program I am a part of is incredible. I enjoy the classes and the professors. I also find the students just the right amount of competitive. They are all striving for high marks, but are willing to help each other out. I would recommend the forensic science program to anyone interested."
