"I started Penn foster college about a month ago and I love it! I'm enrolled in the associates of criminal justice program and am very satisfied. Ive finished my assessments and 2 exams. You have to be very focused and willing to learn. As far as all the bad reviews I'm not really sure what theyre talking about. It's an awesome college. Once finishing your exams your next shipment of books are sent out. It says to allow up to 10 business days but I get mine within 3-4! The pay is amazing also. Very reasonable. They also answer answer any email within 24 hrs. I highly recommend Penn foster college! I love it."

"As a middle aged male I realized my future lay in the Engineering. Drafting/autocad. Penn Foster seemed like a pefect fit for me. Older and with life responsibilies. Learn at your own pace was perfect. so I paid the school in full at 1300 dollars for the materials. I ended up with a 1 year hiatus in testing, But maintained a 90 avg in the Drafting/autocad course. After given a 6 mo extension, and more tests submitted.I found out I was cancelled due to a time lapse issue. The representative said they have an 'integrity' issue to maintain. Evidently have no concern for the individual student. But their reputation to keep.. Getting a certificate in 2 yrs. They pitch the school as 'learn at your own pace', It is anyting but. Perfect for full time students. Part time or working adults w/ children need to consider this. Their approach to the individual student is poor as they advertise the school."

"I was apprehensive about trying an online college. But after really spending months thinking about it and researching which one, I can say I am really happy in the vet tech program at Penn Foster. You CAN do a medical program through PFC. There are practicums that occur after the 2nd and last semesters for you to get experience in your chosen field. Before PFC, I had taken a year program to become a vet assistant through a Regional Occupational Program. After finishing, I wanted to learn more. I went ahead and signed up for PFC. I am very happy I did! The webinar classes are extremely good and informative, testing online is fun! I absolutely LOVE studying on my own schedule. Highly recommended!"

"I have been taking the Medical Transcriptionist course through Penn Foster, and I have to say that I love this school! As a mother with two young children and a husband who is at work most of the time, I needed a reputable online school for my training in this field. For only $29 to enroll, and $44 a month, this is a deal that can not be beaten! I find the classes informative, I take my exams and submit my projects online, and I have contacted my instructors several times and always receive a response within 24 hours.I would recommmend this school to anyone! I'm not sure why anyone is giving it bad reviews, but I have a feeling that those people would have the same problem no matter which school they choose. As in all online schools, you only get out of it what you put into it. If you are a dedicated student who works well on their own, this is the perfect school for you. Soon I will be certified and then will begin a new set of classes in Medical Billing and Coding. "

"I am currently 1/3 of the way through my "Animal Care: Dogs" certificate and I am very satisfied. I am learning alot and I get to put my knowledge to use because I volunteer at my local Humane Society. As soon as I am done with this program, I will be enrolling in the Vet Assistant program.I extensively researched this school before I enrolled. READ THE FINE PRINT is all that I have to say to anyone who is considering enrolling in a Penn Foster program . . . or any online education program, for that matter. If you know what you are getting into, then you have nothing to complain about!"

"I am currently enrolled in Penn Fosters Vet tech program. I have never had problems with teachers, payments, turning in work, etc. It has all run very smoothly for me and I'm very sorry to those that have had problems. You definately have to be self motivated and strive to finish the program because if there's one thing I've learned about online schools - its EXTREMELY easy to say 'oh I'll do this a little later today'. You need to set a schedule for yourself and stick to it, just as if you were going to a campus.Any questions I have had have been answered promptly and professionally. The teachers are great and I love the online resources they offer.I also love the low payments. I've found this school to be the most affordable for me and my family and I know I'm still learning as much as any other.I really can't say enough good things about this school! And those of you reading these reviews, just remember that most people take the time out to write a review when they AREN'T satisfied with something, so take it how you will but you'll never know until you have your own experience."

"i am currently on my 2nd to last unit of my studies and i must say that for the hvac tech program, well its very good and is a challenge.while i do agree that some of the exam questions are just bogus, the material that is studied is legit..i found this out because back in 2008 i took an hvac class at a local community college here in d.c and the same course/materials i went thru there, penn foster has the same materials..now for those of you who think you will finish and become a tech right away, thats never going to happen..you will have to start off working with someone for about 3 months to gain real experience then once they feel you are ready to be by yourself you will get a truck and you will be on your way!i am very happy with this program and i would recommend this to another.please do not take this course if you are not really trying to do something with this as this can be dangerous work if your not careful..and once again for all those who think this course material is not legit, the refridgeration and air conditioning technology book penn foster gives is the same as you would get if you were going to a community college here in d.c so yes its legit.good luck in your studies!!"

"I have been enrolled in the vet tech program at Penn Foster for a few months now and I love it. The materials(books, videos, audio, and web classes) are incredibly thorough. I get all my shipments quickly. I can actually afford it.All the Associates and Bachelors are acredited. With work, housework, and my pets going to traditional school can be stressful. This fits into my life perfectly. I would highly recomend this school"

"I have been enrolled in Penn Foster's Pharmacy Tech course now for 5 months, and I LOVE IT! I am impressed with how thorough the course is and how affordable it is.I feel that I have learned a lot and can't wait to get started on my next course-Medical Transcription. The only negative thing I can come up with regarding the school is that in my first couple of study units, there were typos...since then, and I am in Mod 8 of 10 Mods, I haven't noticed any.I thought that was weird coming from a school, but then as I kept going, I became impressed with how thorough the program is. So yes, if it's not a hands on type program, it is a good school."

"This is a great school, and I would recommend this school to anyone. First of all most of the people who have something bad to say are the people who didn't graduate. The only thing I would like to see is for the school to add a picture of its building to the web site. And for the people who are upset because they didn't receive their diploma before paying a full payment. You cant get your diploma from some public schools if you owe for a five dollar book, so stop acting like a child and get an education from Penn Foster."
