" The program is run by reputable faculty members and it's a great learning environment and I believe this is one of the best programs out there. Except maybe the cost!"

"The classes are small and you get lots of direct communication with the professors. There is lots of hands on experience. The school has an excellent placement program for internships and career advancement. The only con, there are quite a few adjunct professors and some of them and phoning it in a little."

"The pros are that the classes are at night and the campus is close. It is also a Christian affiliated University and has interesting classes. The cons are that the program is too long for those wanting to switch careers mid-life and the school is very expensive. They don't seem to have many scholarships, at least not for those who are white and middle to low class. I'm also not sure if the MFT or if the MSW is a better degree to have but Pepperdine only offers the MFT not the MSW. They are accredited statewide but not nationally so that may be an issue. They've just started the LPCC program so I'm interested in that. We'll see."

"I have been out of school for quite a while and Pepperdine's professor's and students make me feel welcome. I enjoy all of my classes and I'm learning a lot. The professor's use all types of modalities for the different types of learners. This is a great experience where I can actually use and apply what I am learning to real life and my career."

"Excellent academic standards for the most part. Like any program there are teachers who aren't up to par but this is the exception rather than the rule. The grounds are very clean, very safe with advanced technology. The writing lab support is below standard and I haven't been assigned an adviser yet but I haven't asked for one either. The online system is streamlined and very easy to use. It is easy to sign up for classes, process financial aide and make payments. Pepperdine has excellent professional networking opportunities and Pepperdine students are well regarded in any field. Overall, I'm very happy with the graduate program in clinical psychology."

"Pepperdine's MFT evening program has small classes. The teachers are very engaged and are able to give you lots of personal feedback and advice. This is an excellent program."

"I haven't been into the program very long but I feel so satisfied and happy that I went with Pepperdine. The faculty is excellent, nice, supportive and dedicated to making you the most competent, knowledgable and understanding therapist possible. Pros - faculty, they make the schedule one that a working person can work with, they locations are very convenient, I feel like I'm working with good people who are invested in their field. Cons - I wish it weren't so expensive"
