"Programs are not diverse thinking about changing schools. Financial Aid is difficult regardless of school. Nothing is on time. The strong point in the undergraduate and grad programs is the students learn very well versus other universities. Its more one on one almost due to small class sizes. I have witness this myself where students from other Texas universities transfer to PVAMU to learn and be successful."

"In being that the school is and HBCU, I believe the school is a rich atmosphere for young african americans seeking to exit the uneducated race stereotype. I believe the school gives off a great level of comfort, which allows one to easily pursue education. The school also gives safe and fun levels of criteria for competitive learning among students. No matter what a students course of study is, the faculty is present 100% for all students. All PVAMU panthers have a sense of a home through their campus, and can easily feel the desire for success from their professors. The only two downsides I personally see from the school is the fact that so many students from the school seek financial aid, that there is simply not enough scholarship to sufficiently disberse to all students the amount of money needed to cover the cost of tuition. That is to bad considering so many persons seek to further their education, but dreams come to a hault due to money. The second con i see is the diversity. Even thought being around African Americans provides a certain level of comfort, it does not give proper vision of the real world. Once all students move on from the university, daily, those same people will interact with personnel from all over the world. Now is the time to learn how to mingle with those persons."
