Degree: Practical Nursing, Vocational Nursing and Nursing Assistants, Other
Graduation Year: 2015

I am a wife and mother of three children. I worked for a major weight loss company for about 8 years and came home everyday feeling unfulfilled. I decided to began my career in nursing and enrolled into Prism Career Institute. I can say that was one of the best decisions I could make. The Instructors in both the classroom and clinical setting proved to be a valuable resource in this industry. I graduated 2nd in my class and passed state boards, with a tremendous amount of support. I have a great rapport with my instructors and still keep in touch to this day. I feel that Prism gave me the skills that I needed to go out and be a successful entry level nurse. Career services at Prism is the best! After passing boards Marlene worked with me at my pace to help me find a job that was right for me. I know have two jobs in a rewarding field with endless opportunities for growth. Prism is more than an learning institution but rather like a family. I would recommend anyone that has a desire to become a nurse that they start with Prism.

Degree: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Graduation Year: 2015

Fraudulent....just after your money. Quit and went to gcc for 75 percent less. Got CMA for 3500 instead of 15,000. Instructors out a lot...looking at films. Used bate and switch to get more monies. Used pressure tactics to get you to enroll. I actually had instructor tell me the place was being investigated.

Degree: Early Childhood Education
Graduation Year: 2015

So my 60 credit accelerated classes are not recognized by the Philadelphia School district or Keystone Stars....waste of money! My center is closing down as of December 12th. But the teachers are great and very helpful. A lot of colleges do not expect these credits so now I will have a hard time transferring to a university for a bachelors.

Terrible, waste of time. Most of the so called teachers and clinical instructors either have no idea what they are doing or they are the most miserable people you will ever run into. "Clinical instructor" if that's what they want to call her was terrible, rushing you around expecting you to do things you have not been taught, just stands there and looks at you and gives no advice or direction on what to do, very rude in front of patients, just miserable all the way around. Clinical days filled with nothing but drama because of the terrible "instructor". Trust me you can't learn in this kind of environment ! Beware of this "school" think twice before signing up! I wish I had just gone for my RN at the community college. Would not even give one star if that was an option!

Degree: Paralegal
Graduation Year: 2011

Went to school around 2010 2011 stayed for two and a half years for Paralegal studies which they now no longer offer they were ghetto a rip off they cared more about the day classes then their night classes they never offered their Paralegal class internships to any law firms so I never got to practice what I learn which by the way was nothing towards the end they started making up classes that had nothing to do with the course they kept changing teachers and people who run them we were taught by so called teachers and lawyers who did not no what they were doing I did have one good law professor and that was Dave Kline he tried his best to do what he could so that we could get the best experience and get our monies worth but he could only do but so much. None of the people I graduated with got paralegal jobs I remember one time they lost their accreditations and was on probation I want to go back to school but I'm afraid that other schools would look at my transcripts and shake their heads I learned nothing from that hole in the wall and also I'm staring to wonder if my associates degree is even real .DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL GO TO A REAL SCHOOL BECAUSE I DONT EVEN CONSIDER IT TO BE A COLLEGE Its a playground for ghettoness I went to the one in Upper Darby PA stay away or you will regret it I sure am and I never did find a job what I studied for smh

Unorganized no structure new rules every week over charging administration doesnt make it any better they do nothing about the complaints they need to shut this school down

Prism is the worst school ever don't waste your money they are liars,  unorganized, they omit a lot of info until after you sign your paper work. They hire teachers with no teaching experience, you dont get your grades until sometime next term, so you don't know if you pass or fail so you will get pulled out of class. The administration never answers your questions and you won't know your clinical site untill the day before and it could be up to 50 miles away in another state so you better have a car and plenty of gas money and Thats if they have a site available at all like worst school ever go to your local community college its cheaper and more reputable

Degree: Licensed Practical Nurse
Graduation Year: 2014

My company hired a new grad from Prism Career Institute based on the 'reviews' that a teacher and Career/Student services rep gave. The employee was poorly prepared for an entry position in nursing, quit with no notice, stole our equipment, and hangs up when we attempt to contact her to complete documentation, which we will be reporting to the State Board of Nursing. I wouldn't hire another grad from this school if THEY paid ME.
