"I would not recommend this college to others because there is no guidance in classes that meet requirements for graduation."

"I have greatly enjoyed my time at Roosevelt University in the Clinical Clinical Psychology (Counseling Practice) program. most of the professors are practicing mental health professionals with plenty of invaluable information to pass on to students. As an African American woman, I felt safe and welcome there. Roosevelt's dedication to social justice and the commitment of the faculty to living out this vision was very impressive to me."

"Roosevelt University has been shown a great school to complete a master's degree. The university hase a commitment to social justice, which is an invitation to diversity. My classes usually have students from many different backgrounds, ethnicities, and nationalities. Those factors add substance to the discussion. Many of the Professors are still working in their specialty field, so they bring real life challenges to class. There is also a career center, where you can be advised in all parts of your career building. You can truly enjoy and be very productive during your studies at Roosevelt."

"I am satisfied with my degree pursuit. I am above the national average easily and I would say my degree helped. The online program is rigorous and it is like having a baby. Everyday i must check on post, turn in papers and/or follow-up on something. I thought the B.S. was extremely easy but this has been real work. I would not take this degree if you are looking for a cake walk. The professors want A.P.A. style for everything. if you are new to it, please study but it makes for great research. The degree is accelerated and I start & finish in one year. No games! No jokes! No Free time! Bring your A- game or look elsewhere. I already see the dividends in all aspect of my work because I know it is making me a better leader. This degree will have you thinking beyond what you know and what you deem as ordinary. if you want a challenge and to be done in a year, this is your choice.......the increasing in legend Roosevelt University!"

"Roosevelt University was a great school to attend. The downtown campus is modern and a green, eco friendly building which they have received awards for. Classes at Roosevelt are relatively small with professors who are always willing to help, know you by name, and keep their office doors open for students with questions. This helped me with obtaining my degree because if I was lost in a lecture or had a questions I was never afraid to speak up and my concerns were addressed immediately. If I attended a college with lecture sizes of 150+ students I don't know if I would have graduated as confident in the coursework as I feel graduating from Roosevelt."

"It was ok but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone. It was kind of disorganized."

"Being in the heart of downtown Chicago, Roosevelt provides the atmosphere for growing and learning adults. The beauty that the campus displays is impeccable; the view of the historic Buckingham fountain and Lake Michigan is like no other site seen. The campus initiatives and core valves are in line with surrounding communities. Roosevelts progressive academic environment is rich in diversity and attractive to a wide range of students on different continuum of education. The faculty are supportive and instrumental in achieving excellence. The Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences program is designed to help students improve their understanding of the biological sciences to prepare for professional health science programs. This is exactly the program I was looking for because it employs me the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities on the graduate level. The program is an accelerated program that offers rigorous work, personal faculty attention and coursework offered for the working adult. The flexibility in the course work and the mapping of the program was most appealing to me and I'm glad I chose Roosevelt's master's program."

"Roosevelt University is a very diverse and professional school. The management and professors are very knowledgeable, friendly and well educated. The Clinical Psychology (Counseling Program) MA is a great program for anyone interested in Counseling. The professors in the program know their subject, work and have a professional attitude with the students. I would recommend this school and program to anyone interested in Psychology, it has and will continue to increase my knowledge and help me reach my career goal."

"Roosevelt University Online B.A program took great discipline and I did well, but I needed to continue on to Boston University to complete me M.A in criminal justice with a concentration in Cyber-Security and still struggling to find a job. I'm an honors student with a B.A and will complete 3 more classes online to finish my Boston M.A and I'm looking to attend law school @ Mitchell & Hamline to continue my education until I find a steady job after leaving banking of 14 years."

"Roosevelt University's reading program was outstanding. Dr. P. was an excellent adviser, and made the process of enrolling and finding the progression of classes easy. The online classes included group work, which still gave a sense of collaboration and learning from others. The face to face classes were interactive, laid-back, and gave me motivation and excitement to learn more. The summer reading clinic program allowed me to apply the knowledge I had learned throughout the reading program, to real life situations with real students, which also prepared me as I went into interviews and as a reading teacher."

"After completing Community College, I was unsure what steps to take next to further my education. My Mom's concern was that she wanted me closer to home. After doing research at a few local colleges, I decided to give Roosevelt University Chicago an opportunity. The building was beautiful and inviting, it appeared to be like a real engaged university, and it didn't hurt that it was down the street from my place of employment. I had an opportunity to meet new friends, network, and grow as a professional student. I really enjoyed my experience there, and I have just been accepted to return to Roosevelt this fall to complete my Masters of Science Degree in Human Resources. I'm very nervous, as my life has changed drastically after the birth of my son, but I super excited for the possibilities and doors that may open for me returning back to school. I'm glad I've decided to to it."

"My time at Roosevelt University has been challenging but rewarding, so far I have taking a combination of online and on campus classes. I feel this way allows me to attend my classes without restricting my time that I can use to work to pay for my tuition."

"I LOVE this program! I often recommend this school to ANY one who shows interest in this program, or even the school. I have also taken other classes here and still enjoyed the school. The faculty is very nice, as well as the support staff. It is easily accessible to anywhere in Chicago, since it is in the heart of downtown. Views of the lake and front row seating to the Taste of Chicago and other festivals."

"I did not like the counseling services for Roosevelt. They were not very helpful, it was mostly hands off and it was difficult to get answers for questions. However, I went to NIU for my undergrad and the English department counseling services were amazing."

"As an alumni of Roosevelt University, I decided to return to complete a Masters degree in Counseling and Human Service. I love the school because its mission is grounded in social justice, with an overall curriculum focusing on diversity and human service. Roosevelt is located in the heart of Chicago, overlooking Lake Michigan and Millineum Park, and downtown Chicago Loop. Roosevelt's Counseling and Human Service: School Counseling program is CACREP accredited, and leads to an Illinois Professional Educator License endorsement. The rigorous curriculum and hands on training will prepare you for future career in counseling. I am glad that I chose to return to Roosevelt to continue my education!"

"Roosevelt University is a great university for numerous reasons one its campus, instructors, and its passion for education. I would greatly advise this university to anyone looking to further their education. However, they are a bit expensive but what great education is cheap, I tend to look at the outcome more than the moment of sacrifice. I try to keep in mind a moment sacrifice for a lifetime investment- commitment."

"Roosevelt is a place that is inclusive and guided by a powerful mission of social justice. I have perceived that everyone is truly committed to this goal. The faculty and staff are knowledgeable of the subject-matter and have been effective in making me feel like part of the community. However, I feel that the location results in tuition amounts that are difficult to be met. I find myself struggling to meet the financial demands."

"Roosevelt University's program of study in sustainability studies was very challenging/rewarding and so worth it. I am very happy with the program courses couple with purposeful field studies. The professors are very knowledgeable in the field and the Director of the program Michael Bryson, Ph.D. challenges students but he is very fair. His expectations are very high but this is the reason the program is successful. I earned a degree in this program and feel confident it was worth the time."

"Pros: The faculty are highly experienced and knowledgable, largely practitioners so they know what they're talking about. The curriculum is very focused on practical learning that applies to the field rather than just theory. Cons: The program is a bit too easy, really. Many classes just don't expect that much from you. I would actually prefer something a bit more rigorous sometimes, though I still have learned a lot mostly because of the strength of the faculty."
