"The program at Rutgers is great. It is the second largest school for clinical social work in the United States. However, the coordination surrounding their program was very poor. The financial disbursements/packages and scholarship packages were not even awarded to students until after the due date for the tuition bills."

"My graduate program needs more Black and Hispanic males. In addition, I am completing the requirements for certificate in Violence Against Women and Children. Both the name and curriculum are not inclusive of the violence experience by men and by people who identify themselves as being LGBTQ. In contrast, this program has a impeccable reputation for producing social movement leaders. In addition, there are high-caliber researchers and practitioners who serves as impromptu mentors. Upon graduation, I look forward to being connected with the large Rutgers University alumni network!"

"I had a hard time communicating with administration in the Social Work department. Many calls went unanswered and voicemails left unreturned. It was very frustrating. As a single mom who is attending graduate school full time and working part time, my time is valuable."

"The school has a great network of professionals but the area the school is surrounded by has a high crime rate."
