"Rutgers is a fun place with so many activities that it’s very easy to find your people here. But it can be overwhelming because of how big it is and make it take awhile to find those people. It’s not for everyone. But for someone willing to go out and explore, it’s great"

"The political science department and Rutgers provided amazing networking opportunities, leading to many of my internships. Rutgers is connected to so many of the most important people in New Jersey and national politics. Succeeding at Rutgers felt easy."

"I was so fortunate to have attended Rutgers for my undergraduate degree. As a local New Jerseyan, it was a tough decision. There are dozens of colleges and universities in the tri-state area alone, and the level of competition among schools along the East Coast is intense. Having good grades and excellent recommendations, I knew I had choices. I flew as far as Arizona and aspired as high as Princeton! But in the end, the culture of inclusiveness, of academic prowess dating back to the the pre-Revolutionary War area, all for a more than reasonable price in comparison to like schools made choosing Rutgers a no-brainer. The research opportunities, student involvement activities, and networking possibilities are boundless in this massive five-campus school. I highly recommend Rutgers to anyone, especially if you live out of state!"

"Rutgers' undergraduate Political Science program helped pave the way for fine tuning skills of critical thinking, writing, and hard work. Memorable professors, current events, and historic precedent all made this program engaging and interesting. This is why I chose to further my education by entering the Masters program for Public Administration 2017 at Rutgers."

"At Rutgers, there's great diversity not only among the student population, but in variety of classes, clubs, and activities. Get yourself involved with all sorts of clubs and activities to meet people and find your interests. Otherwise, it's easy to get lost in the crowd since it's such a big school."
