"I loved my college experience. All classes taught by professors not grad students. Good class sizes. Go huskies!!"

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2009
"I chose this school as it was far enough away from home but still only an hour away. My parents didn't want my to go to a large university and get lost in the crowd. This school was still large and I feel like I was just another number. For a science degree I wish I would have just gone to the university. I didn dance at SCSU which was a great opportunity also I had a few other opportunities such as being a TA and being involved with a few clubs. These might not have happened going to a larger school"

Degree: Radiology Technician
Graduation Year: 2011
"I loved it here. There were so many things to get involved in and so many actvities throughout the week and weekend. I love that the campus is big but small enough to walk through easily, especially in the winter with all of the skyways. It does have a reputation for being a party school, but I did not have a problem with that at all. I had challenging classes and still had fun without getting distracted by parties every night. I miss it a lot and wish I could do it all over again."

"Has a bit of a reputation for being a party or drinking school but it really isn't any more so than any other school. Depends on who you choose to hang out with and your own priorities. The science program was very good and I have heard excellent things about the teaching program as well. Campus is relatively easy to navigate. Some really great professors and some not so great professors when I attended."

Degree: Liberal Studies
Graduation Year: 2014
"The program is fairly competitive with other schools. I did not think that the Math department was great. Aside from one or two good professors, it's a terrible department. Math is an integral part of Meteorololgy, so be prepared to do a lot of extra studying on your own. The Meteorology program itself is fine. I learned most of what I needed to to be successful at my first job."

Degree: Communications
Graduation Year: 2012
"Communication Studies department was great; however, the St. Cloud area was far less than ideal. I've only heard bad things from people about the school, which echo my experience there. I couldn't wait till I could leave. Luckily, I found the Communication Studies department and just took my classes out of there because I did not like the rest of the school (or the region in general."
