"I feel that the program is very working professional friendly. The advisors go above and beyond to assist with decision and the program is affordable. The downside is sometimes the professors are harder to interpret as an online student so question asking can be a little more difficult."

"Pro's include online status, easier to integrate with current life, job, responsibilities. Faculty is always easy to reach when needed, and provide helpful feedback. Con's mostly just relate to online college coursework being demanding, and require extensive studying. SLU is also an expensive institution."

"Saint Louis University has a wonderful support faculty that are frequently available for use when in need of answers to questions. Occasionally, certain educators can be difficult to get ahold of which makes things more difficult when not in a classroom setting. The online program uses several facets of technology, engaging the students and involving them in the overall learning process of the classes, even though they are not in a classroom. The school is able to provide some financial aid through scholarships but SLU is very expensive, being a private university."

"School overall is expensive and hard to find scholarships or grants due to being on a solid online program. Materials and teachers are overall very helpful and enjoy teaching."

"I am in a relatively new graduate program in Biosecurity that is part of the Saint Louis University School of Public Health. Although it is young, most of the core courses are offered online, and that is the pro of the program because it is so much more convenient for working adults. The con is that since the program has only been around since 2001, they have a smaller faculty, which is great for creating a "close knit" environment, but it also means the faculty can be stretched thin in their efforts to perform all the duties required for the position. Overall, I am very pleased with the program and very happy that I chose this field of study."
