"This nursing program is awful. They were super unorganized. The dean doesn't care if students graduate or not. Some of the teachers try to make the class as hard as they can. Other teachers do not conduct themselves professionally. They gave little help with the pandemic. The nursing advisor tells you to take classes that aren't needed so that the school can make money. I was told to get an associates degree before I could apply to the RN program. They also do not accommodate disability restrictions. I would not go here again if I had to do nursing school over."

"The professional truck driving program is an excellent program the instructors are very good with the students and very knowledgeable it doesn't really feel like school I actually enjoyed going there everyday kind of felt like going to work with friends the equipment is great all the trucks are 2017 or newer and they teach you how to shift standard unsyncronized transmissions nowhere near as easy as cars or as easy as you would think it is but once you get the hang of it it's kind of fun and it gives you a lot more control over the truck and they actually used 53-foot trailers not smaller ones like some of the other schools use they have approximately 20,000 lbs in enormous tractor tires in them so you're actually getting experience pulling weight I had a good time in this program the education is top-notch and the price is very reasonable probably the lowest that you're going to find especially for the quality of experience that you are gaining."

"The mass majority of my classes in the science field were considered" filter "classes and they may be extremely difficult because they thought their of filtering for the med schools, pharmacy schools ,or nursing schools, Their job is not to filter but is to properly educate which they did very very poorly."

"Been here since 2017, the teachers lack passion,. The teachers are there to collect a paycheck. The problem with slcc is most of the teachers need to be proactive with people understanding the topics. We seek understanding. Classes are 100% PowerPoint based & there is no time to understand them. No doctorates as far as I know. It's cheap and they hire cheap teachers. Do online if you go to slcc"

"In general I had a great experience, statistics class should be taught by better instructors who prepare and show students step by step. And final should not weigh in so much of grade. It would be helpful if student advisors would be better informed to help students, most meetings with advisors I walked out just as clueless as when I walked in. Other than that, good experience."

"Salt Lake Community College is a great college and there are many programs available. It is very diverse and fun too. I don't really know what I want to do so I'm doing General Studies. The school page is easy to use and help me keep track of my degree. The professor here are really nice too and they care for their students."

"Salt Lake Community College is a great way to be able to go to school within a flexible schedule. Their tuition isn't too high and they offer a variety of tools and amenities to help you succeed. I am going for an Associates in Business and they have a great business program. They have programs to help you get internships, they have advisers, and they also have great transfer programs."

"I love going to Salt Lake Community College. The classes are small, the instructors really do care if you succeeded. Class availability is a little hard but it works out in the end. I would recommend this college to anyone. The instructors, love to have fun and love what they do, which helps. The advisors needs a better system for more personal relations."
