"The accelerated executive doctoral program is a great way to offer education professionals the opportunity to gain terminal degrees. It's format and overall structure provide full-time working professionals the opportunity to complete their studies in a manner that won't interrupt their professional and personal lives to a great degree. With the expectation of ten full weekends of study and two summer month long residencies, the two year program is very doable. The only drawback of the program is the cost. With the economy in its current state, the tuition should be more reasonable. Nationally, student loan debt is steadily increasing and Seton Hall should have internal scholarships, grants, and working study opportunities during the summer residencies for those enrolled in the program."

"The MHA program at Seton Hall University is the only one of its kind in the state of New Jersey. The program curriculum is structured over a 2 year span which is great because the material is not rushed. The program also has an internship portion built into it."

"Excellent program if interested In culture and language. It's a program that has longevity at the University. I particularly enjoy the diversity of the students and the support of the faculty. School is located in small campus with limited parking facility. it needs more parking spaces."

"Seton Hall Law has a tremendous quality that you don't often find in the law school environment: SHU-Law is a family. You compete against classmates, but in the end, you work together. Everyone works hard and generally hopes for the best for each colleague in the future."

"I am only in my 1L year, so it is a bit premature to speculate on my entire law school year at this point. I would say that the pros are definitely an enthusiastic and caring faculty and staff, friendly and responsive classmates and colleagues, and a manageable workload that is challenging yet not utterly overwhelming. As for the cons, the location is not ideal. Although the law school building itself is beautiful and state of the art, the surrounding Newark area leaves much to be desired. The cost of attendance is also extremely expensive, the tuition and living expenses. Most students commute either form home or a surrounding suburb and you must factor in parking costs or daily train costs as a cost of living."

"Great school located in Newark, NJ. While the location is not great, the proximity to NYC is great. The law school's network is very large in NJ and the Career Services are very active in helping students."

"It's a very small school therefore you are able to get that one on one attention that you need. It is a private school therefore it is kind of pricey but there are a lot of different opportunities to help finance your education. The campus itself feels safe but because of where the school is located it is a bit dangerous but not dangerous to the point where you should fear for your life. I enjoy being a graduate student at this university"

"This particular program is one of the best in its field for my major. It allows students excellent proximity to and internship abilities with the U.N., as well as hundreds of equally suitable international organizations. They prepare their students very well to pursue their dreams, and they offer two areas of specialization in which to personalize their degree and what they want to do after graduation. My only real problem is the affordability of school and living. They don't offer much in the way of aid outside of a loan, and I already have loans to repay from my time as an undergraduate. If it were not for the steep cost, I would have no complaints at all. I'm living my dreams."

"Seton Hall's chemistry graduate program is a wonderful experience for those who really want to broaden their science horizons. Between the myriad of different research opportunities and the inter-departmental cross-training, there is never a dull moment if you really want to push your boundaries. The professors are always around to lend you a helping hand and ensure your unwavering motivation is met with an equally zealous participation on their end. Without sounding too excitable, it is really a paradise if you're like me and you aren't sure what career path you wish to choose yet. The diversity of the sciences you are exposed to (be it intentionally or inadvertently) is honestly the best attribute this school has to offer and in my opinion, solidifies this academic institution as a growing force to be reckoned with. I recommend this school highly for all those who wish to see more of the grand field of science before fully committing to a career path."

"Overall, Seton Hall Law offers a great program! Aside from being the best law school in New Jersey and one of the best in the country, the school is offers a large variety of networking opportunities and activities/student organizations that really encourage students to assimilate into the community. There isn't a great opportunity for social life outside of the school environment and the workload is enormous; but that comes with being a law student! However, the school definitely encourages student involvement and a very friendly and welcoming environment. The only real downside is the cost. The great education comes with a serious price tag and, accompanied with the high interest rates of government loans, leave students with an overwhelming amount of debt. The job market is not exceptionally good for attorneys now, especially with many people and companies opting to go with paralegals or outsourced legal help, so paying back all that debt will be a serious burden!"

"The overall program is great as well as the faculty members. It lacks, however, the atmosphere of being surrounded by other students equally ambitious for more in life. As such, it can drag on the quality of the school, such as faculty members being more lax due the quality of students low engagement."

"The Whitehead School of Diplomacy at Seton Hall University offers a strong program for students interested in international relations. The Whitehead School is one of the few in the nation to be an APSIA school with both a graduate and undergraduate program. The quality of the faculty is a big factor that drew me to the school. Several of my professors are retired ambassadors and are able to provide interesting perspectives on the subjects that they teach. It is amazing to have access to faculty with this type of field experience. Not only are you now connected to these people, but you gain access to their network as well. Another major benefit of Seton Hall is the internship experience. Both graduate and undergraduate students of the Whitehead School are required to do at least one internship in their time at the university. Seton Hall's location, a mere 15 minutes from New York City, and its extensive professional network, provide for great internship opportunities. Students have had internships with organizations such as the FBI, various divisions of the United Nations, and even The Daily Show with Jon Stewart! In addition to this, the Whitehead School has it's own career development officer who works extensively one-on-one with students to ensure internship placement and overall success. The Whitehead School provides you with the tools you need both in and out of the classroom to succeed in your future career endeavors. I feel confident that the professional development skills and the knowledge gained through my coursework will provide me with the tools necessary to find a career in my field."

"Law school is by far the best education anyone can achieve. Doing so at Seton Hall is difficult, but very self-rewarding. Despite its location in Newark (high crime, bad traffic), the faculty is unmatched and the community is one of a kind. Those two attributes aren't typically found both in the same law school."

"Seton Hall University's graduate program in Museum Professions is one of the top programs in the nation. I have made great connections with professionals in the museum field in New Jersey and New York, had interesting and relevant classes, and will have a class abroad in China this summer. I am very pleased with the professors and that you can choose your specific track in order to get a specialized education. The biggest issue I had was trying to get funding because there are graduate assistantships but they are very competitive because there are not many of them. It is close to the train to New York and it is easy to get real world experience in the surrounding area."

"The Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations is a program in which the student is being taught the practical skills needed for his or her specific career in this field. This is especially true for students wanting to work in the United Nations or for Non-governmental organizations around the world. It is a unique program and specific in terms of paving the career path for the student. The only con I see is the lack of financial support for MA students, especially when it comes to scholarships or other means of financing a student's education besides federal loans. But in terms of the program as a whole, it is the best program I know of for careers focused on diplomacy and international relations."
