"As military it's hard to find schools that work with you. I thought the curriculum was great, except for the VBA taught. It was cool to learn, but not many jobs require or desire that. My two biggest issues were enrolling and instructor teaching. Enrolling was extremely difficult as I had to drive an hour away and take time off work, which was extremely rare to be able to do that. They wouldn't answer their phones and I had to turn in paperwork in person. It's online for a reason. Secondly one of the two main instructors taught online, but didn't offer a variety of teaching methods expecting you to learn from a book. It was an absolute class and when you got something wrong there was no learning from it."

"I really loved my time at skagit valley College, I worked for a while on obtaining my Registered Nursing degree. I really loved their smaller class sizes, attention from instructors, and the ability to have assistance when I needed it. Skagit Valley Colleges Finacial aid process was challenging and the wait for the program was frustrating but the actuall classess and nursing program was fantastic."

"This school is a JOKE. Its just a community college and they charge university prices. I've about had it with all professors anymore. They are all less interested in teaching and more interested in some ridiculous schedule they want you to conform to that they just made up. Or they continually change it. Iv'e payed good money to attend these courses and i have to kill my self just to get there and for them to just not show up is so unprofessional. Its not a university its a damn COMMUNITY college with community college quality Professors."

"Whoever says community college is a joke is either rich or dumb. I was able to knock out all of my gen ed requirements for less than one year of tuition at a 4 year public school. Good classes, quality education and close to home. DO IT, screw student loan debt, no one cares where you did your first 2 years of college. NO ONE CARES."
