"DO NOT ENROLL AT SOUTH UNIVERSITY ONLINE. HORRIBLE SCHOOL!!! The professors do not care & the Counselors are a JOKE. Everything is about money. No care or concern for students or their educational journey. Save yourself the headache South University isnt worth it. My last course the professor refused to answer any questions referring us to our peers who were just as confused or tech support help desk. My counselor is a absolute joke he never has answers to any questions its like he reads from a script if you ask any additional questions he has no response. You have to find your own preceptors.... which depending on your area can be a nightmare. They also use a system called castle branch that is a nightmare to deal with because they actually sprung this on us last minute right before clinical and I personally know a lot of students who couldnt move forward in the program because of a physical or vaccine records. There is absolutely no warnings. Professors grade late. My late professors graded two weeks behind keeping the entire class in suspense about their grades down to week ten and the final. Financial Aid doesnt assist with scholarships if you ask they have no answers. Ive had over a 3.6 GPA the entire time Ive been in this program no acknowledgment of scholarships or benefits to assist with this program. This is a money game and a RIP OFF. You teach yourself basically so this could be a self paced mail in your answers program because the process arent interactive. Its all copy paste lectures nothing is thought through. Test answers are normal wrong so you actually have to pay attention to how they grade. Which is also extremely hard because they wont show you what your getting wrong or making a mistake on so your technically take a stab at what you think is right. This program is HORRIBLE THE SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE. I wish I could transfer to another program however, Im to far invested Im almost finished now Im completing my rotations. But had I been smart I wouldve ran for the hills at the first red flag however I kept be optimistic now all those red flags added up to one conclusion HORRIBLE PROGRAM HORRIBLE PEOPLE. If youre in search of a FNP program this is not the school at all."

"I have learned so much from south university. I recommend on campus learning for your FNP MSN. The amount of content you have to learn and apply in practice is extremely difficult. Having an instructor who you can sit down with and learn from is worth its weight and gold. Trust me go for on campus."
