"I completed both my Master's degrees at Southern Connecticut State University. The first was in Exercise Physiology and the second in Public Health. Both degrees have made a significant impact into my personal and professional success. The faculty in both programs are top notched and truly care about their students success. Many years after graduating, I continue to stay in contact with them for mentors in my field and certainly for this newest pursuit of my PhD. I would highly recommend anyone interested in SCSU to commit to themselves and have a great learning experience."

"I chose this school for graduate school because it was close to home , but I didn't realize how competitive it was to get into the graduate program. The on-site clinic and the professors were great in preparing us for our final project and completing our degree, as well as for beginning our careers."

"The professors at Southern welcome students of all experience levels, and help individuals achieve their professional goals. The program encourages students to explore various public health issues, and then critically analyze the problems and potential solutions. The program and professors are flexible so students can tailor their assignments to personal interests, which is appreciated by many. I participated in an international course in Guatemala, and was profoundly impacted and humbled by my experiences. I notice my personal intellectual and emotional growth, and I believe this program has contributed to my self confidence. After graduation I will move on to dental school, and know I will benefit by having a public health perspective. I look forward to my future endeavors, and know I will have the Southern community behind me."

"I am into the first month of the Master of a Public Health program at Southern Connecticut State University. This program courses will teach the necessary tools of promoting, improving and maintaining the public's health. Although, I am only one month into the program both classes, Foundation of Public Health and Public Health Research Methods, have been interesting and stimulating and has allowed me to take back what I have learned so far and apply it to the work I currently in the public health field."
