"Cannot in good faith recommend the SAU MSN program to anyone. There are massive deficiencies within the program, all of which stem from the leadership of the MSN program starting with the Dean and the Director. They have a "system" that does not serve their students in any way, and in fact, is punitive against their students. Huge mistakes can be made by their faculty, and administrative staff, and the student is repeatedly penalized. Further, in the State of Michigan, many health systems DO NOT accept SAU students as MSN students for clinicals. SAU offers no help in arranging or setting up clinicals, where other schools at least offer the option to set up your own, or to have them assign you a preceptor. Lastly, students are not adequately prepared for boards or a career, and are found deficient in skill during their clinicals, compared to the State schools here in Michigan. Preceptors and providers are not shy to tell students that SAU does not adequately prepare their students."

"When I Started this program I loved every minute. Felt there was so much support. As I continued the support declined drastically. When asking for assistance I would get “read your book, or review rubric”. This then resulted in my failure of a course. My instructor (who no longer works there) was wonderful during my first practicum. The second practicum she was unavailable, rude, and demeaning. The MSN office was unreliable in getting back to you, it was a guessing game what was to come next. Instead of graduating I am transferring to a better program! I would NOT recommend them. This is suppose to be a Christian school— I think they need to open the Bible again!"

"Attending Spring Arbor University to take my BSW allowed me to do one night a week. It was a 18 month program. I am full time mom, student and wife. I have a busy schedule and the University allowed me to finish my degree in a short time. I graduated with honors."

"Spring Arbor University is a Christian faith based college that offers a diverse experience from studies to foods offered in the eating commons. The faculty at Spring Arbor University is cultured and very diverse in different backgrounds and experiences, enhancing the deliverance of information taught to the students. Throughout the entire process of requesting information, submitting an application for admittance, acceptance into the FNP program and throughout the class experiences, I have been made to feel as if I am meant to be where I am and everyone I have come in contact with want nothing more than my success. They address me by name with every encounter and make me feel important. The instructors are phenomenal and want nothing more than your success throughout the program. I couldn't be more thankful I chose this school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Their deliverance of both personal and academic guidance and care is second to none."

"My Bachelor's in Nursing covered the science of nursing very well. Spring Arbor's online program includes the religious aspect I find appealing. The University staff are helpful in every aspect of your degree. The support staff are available for assistance almost around the clock. The instructors are very responsive to questions."
