"Pros are beautiful mountains nearby and great, supportive faculty. Oh, and pass fail grading. Cons mostly relate to the surrounding area and cost of attendance. The surrounding area is extremely pricey and living is very dense."

"Collaborative environment, very research focuses, faculty are trying to innovate classroom teaching with some success (several classes currently in flux). A very happy, student-wellness orientated program with many connections to silicon valley and healthcare leaders."

"Pros: Stanford med school has a reasonably supportive, collaborative atmosphere among peers. There is great flexibility in the program in terms of taking an extra year if desired and scheduling rotations with personal breaks as needed. Professors and admin are typically quite accessible to students and with a smaller class size, you feel your voice is taken into consideration more. Cons: The surrounding area of Palo Alto is quite expensive in terms of housing. A car is a must to commute because public transportation is limited in this suburban area."

"Excellent program, focused on helping students get the best education while having time to do things outside of classes and maintaining great quality of life in medical school."
