"If I could rate with a zero rating I would. Completed all 9 months of schooling and was a B-A average student. Right before I was suppose to take me CMA exam and graduate the school shut down and now I still owe all the money to my school loans. I would not recommend this school to my worse enemy."

"This school is the worst mistake I could have made, there is no one to talk to about anything, instructors have attitude, they can't pronounce and they don't give two cents if you show up or not. Don't waster your time and money. They smile in your face when you first come in but once you're in you are on your own literally."

"Let me start off saying I would never recommend this school to anyone. They don't go by chain of command when your a student. If u make a complaint nothing gets done!!!! They fire good teachers and keep the bad ones!!! They didn't help me get an extern site I found my own!!! They don't help you find a job even if you have your certification. They are quick to take your money but don't help you with anything. They is to much favoritism in that school and it's sad!!! They need to clean house and get all new people!!!"

"Best decision I ever made. I worked hard and was rewarded with a 4.0, excellent extern site and a job I can be proud of. Difficult program academically and clinically, but the best things in life are things you work hard for. Instructors are the best in the field."

"Loved my experience in the Medical Assistant program & loved my instructor. Would recommend the brick campus to anyone looking to go back to school from what I could tell.most of the other programs where just as good as the one I was in . . And from what I heard from other students they where enjoying the other programs as well."

"This school has no respect for education. Someone must take healthcare for a joke. Some of the instructors know as much as you, from the books you're given. Basically you pay for books and teach yourself. Instructors do not have hands on experience. Clifton location, don't waste your time or money."

"Although I do not recommend technical schools, I would like to thank this school for saving my a** when my other school closed. They picked me up where I left off and they DID NOT charge me a penny more. Thank you for giving me what I paid for! The good thing is the school does come through with what they offer, but the bad thing is you just have to constantly harass them for it."

"This school saved my a**, my school closed a month before i graduated and this school, picked me up as in, didnt take any money, let me finish my education and graduate. it is the after graduation that i can not stand, when you need to contact the school to sit for your certification, none of the schools answer the phone, they make you leave messages, i left 15 messages and have not received one phone call back, i finally show up to the school to handle what would have been a 5 minute phone call and she makes me wait for hours for her, now another student who also was in the same predicament as me also can not get in contact in the school, and what she needs done only one person can do, she refuses to call back, and she refuses to stay late one day to help a student who cant make it on time because of work, her lack of responsibility has caused this student to miss a test date and wait for another. this school will only contact you to get you enrolled and to get your money, its a pathetic school, the teaching staff however are sweethearts, and are very good at teacher, i strongly recommend going to a college not a tech school, but definitely not this tech school"

"I attended Star Technical Institute in 2004 for the Medical Assistant program. I found the curriculum easy and comprehensive, the staff(at the time)very helpful. I admired my MA teacher and believe she was one of the best teachers I have had. I reflect back often and only have good memories and experience to speak of. I then attended Star Career Academy again in 2013 for a phlebotomy refresher course. My life since has been changed for the better- the current staff is extremely helpful, professional, understanding and attentive. I could not have asked for a better experience with the Instructor who taught me. He is a wonderful teacher, and just plain awesome! Again, one of the best! I completely would recommend this school to anyone interested in furthering their education-HANDS DOWN. This school has definitely helped me realize my dream of wanting to be in the healthcare field!"

"Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT go to this school if you are a veteran that relies on VA funding such as VRAP or the Montgomery GI Bill!! They do not honor it! They are NOT veteran friendly. If you are a veteran choose another school. These schools are a dime a dozen anyway! They basically lied about being a VA friendly school in order to get the enrollment. Now, several weeks in, we find out that they are not certified to approve veterans through ANY of the veteran programs. Horrible experience. Students are not being told the truth and after weeks of being there, being led on lies, the student has to come out of Star Academy and find another school to attend. Unforgiveable!!!"

"I am writing this review only for their CPR class for hralthcare providers because I never really attended their school except for that. But as far as CPR training, their is certainly the best, as well as the cheapest! I attended CPR training before, from my home country, from one in NY, and another one in NJ. None of the them compared to the class I had at Star Career. I learned so much more from this class than all other three combined. It must be because they have the most complete equipment and they are available for each student. The instructor also made sure that we understood and that we are able to do the CPR by ourselves. I am extremely pleased. It was the best $45 I have ever spent in my healthcare education."
